Pence should twist little Marco’s neck before Trump gives him a phone call.

Can McConnell and the Chairmen of the various Senate committees just remove Rubio from those committees where he is a member?

Rubio needs to be taken behind the wood shed and have some facts of life explained in hard terms to him! What a POS!

I’d rather have Rubio SHOW HIS COLORS NOW, than later

Rubio has been showing his true colors since he became the chief huckster for the Gang of Eight amnesty bill.

“Some Dems will vote for him....”

Seeing as the Dems have to defend about 26 Senate seats in just 2 yrs with many in solid red States, you may be 100% correct.

“The Senate confirmed President Barack Obama’s nomination of Sen. John Kerry, D- Mass, to be secretary of state Tuesday. The vote was 94 to 3, with three Republicans – Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla. – voting against him.”

Why oh why is the GOPe stuck on stupid? Why??

“Nope... Dems will hold firm”
*************************************************************

Are you even aware the number of Senate seats the Dems are defending in 2018? The number is at 25 (maybe 26) and many are in deep red States. How many of those defending their seats will take a stand against the nominee of the President their State has chosen?

You seem to not be aware politicians only reason for living is o get re elected once in office and they would happily sell their souls along with their entire family down the river to realize their ambitions.

Trump is the head of the RNC and the party. Her can and will control the resources used to help a candidate get elected or re elected. Trump also can put pressure on the McConnell to ice Rubio and keep him off of certain committees of high visibility and which help candidates in their bid for re election.

The president of the United States is a VERY powerful position and the power he wields within the Party is enormous, especially when he has the backing of the constituency as Trump clearly does.

"I'm just telling you, I don't see Marco Rubio as anything other than a legitimate, full-throated conservative."

   -- Rush Limbaugh

Then please name for us any other conservative who has ever voted against a Republican President's cabinet nominee. And name one who thought that he was entitled to finance his lifestyle with an expense account credit card. → source.  In the real world that is called embezzlement, and they throw your scumbag ass in jail for doing it.

I wish Mr.Tillison had answered Rubio by saying, “Well, Mr. Obama has had all of the Intel reports and has never labeled Putin a ‘war criminal’”. I have not been availed of all of the intel, like Obama, so it would be irresponsible to take newspaper clippings and make such a blanket statement. Sort of like playing pin the tail on the donkey. When I have available all of that information I can give you a deliberative answer.”

I’m a conservative who held his nose and voted for Rubio in November. I can’t stand the guy, but the vote was still a no brainer. You always have to follow the Buckley rule. You don’t help elect another liberal Democrat jerk to the Senate.

It was one of the letter network’s experts. Probably more of a wish than a fact. What’s the makeup of the judicial committee.

It was Graham’s one vote that kept Bill Clinton in office.

I think that’s a mistake. The Gang of Eight Amnesty bill was so bad, that any GOP office holder who voted for it, let alone wrote and sponsored it, should never hold office again. Some crimes are unforgivable.

The problem with your strategy is that it perpetuates the problem. If McCain or Rubio were to lose a general election because of their support for amnesty, that would send a powerful message to the GOP that amnesty is unacceptable to the base. When these guys keep getting reelected, it sends the opposite message, that amnesty and open borders are not a big deal.
