During Senator Jeff Sessions, R-Ala. (C,78%) Attorney General confirmation hearing today in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Ted Cruz, R-Tex. (A, 97%) pointed out numerous Democratic hypocrisies that have been manifested in the past few years and during the hearing.
Democrats on the committee, especially Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. (F, 0%) had been grilling Sessions on whether he would uphold abortion laws in the United States if he becomes Attorney General. Senator Patrick Leahy, D, Vt. (F, 6%) interrogated Sessions on LGBT rights, questioning whether Sessions would uphold civil rights laws as Attorney General.
But did the Democrats care when Obama routinely flouted the law?
Ted Cruz wasnt having it:

When the Obama Justice Department sent millions of dollars of taxpayer money to sanctuary cities defying federal immigration law, the Democrats on this committee were silent. When the Obama administration refused to enforce federal immigration law the Democrats on this committee were silent. When the Obama administration released tens of thousands of illegal aliens including rapists and murderers into the general population, Democrats on this committee were silent.
Ted Cruz was kicking ass. And he wasnt done. He pointed out Democratic hypocritical silence on Obama flouting the law and paying a ransom to Iran and for releasing Guantanamo terrorists without congressional approval.
Senator Cruzs comments were met with acclaim from conservatives on Twitter:
And there goes @tedcruz back on the top of his game...calling out Democrats hypocrisy/lawlessness. Woo-hoo

Ted Cruz is absolutely destroying the democrats on the Senate Floor. Thank God we have him in the senate. #SenateHearings #ConfirmSessions

Preach it, Ted Cruz.
He has the brains but not the morality.
Cruz’ team also called Carson. No answer and Carson didn’t return the call.
Carson made several gigantic errors that night. This was just one of them.
Okay, then you’re on the record stating you’re glad Ted Cruz didn’t walk up to a microphone and criticize Hillary Clinton for 100 days.
Yikes.
Please explain why you’re glad he took a pass on endorsing Trump?
How can you possibly think that helped?
He did his best not to upset the NeverTrump set the whole way along. Never mind the nation. He had his loyalties and they didn’t include the nation.
Would love to have you back, neighbor...
Lets see, we've had decades of total loser leadership...That's a hell benchmark you're using.
If you like back-stabbers and liars, Ted’s your man!
‘Last year I challenged anyone to find examples of Ted Cruz telling a lie. Without exception, all proffered examples where shot down, and shot down brutally.’
Not true. I gave you two bona fide, shameless, nasty and egregious lies, and you shucked and jived, bobbed and weaved, rationalized, normalized and trivialized. The lies were there, but some simply refuse to see/accept them.
He can’t “learn” morality at his age. He’s a creep.
That’s a really stupid statement. In this case what is the ulterior motive? I’ll be waiting for your reply.
I guess it didn't "count" after Ted dropped out of the primary, and refused to be a team player, right up to election day.
We'll never know how many votes he cost Trump with his butthurt petulance.
That said, I greatly appreciate his performance in today's confirmation hearing.
Jeff Roe’s got a family and three regular-sized men in his *own* clothes to feed, and I often think he wouldn’t be above running a RAT candidate’s campaign. He went to Trump for work and haven’t heard any more about it, so DJT probably politely declined.
“cruz had proven he can never be trusted.”
I’ve never fully understood all the hatred for Cruz.
Just like the democrats, some people cannot get past the election.
However, the election is over, Trump won, and it’s time to get over it.
Trump supporters would/will do well to cultivate a good relationship between Senator Cruz and President Trump.
Ted Cruz did not do this. Ted Cruz's campaign staff sent out a tweet that implied Carson was dropping out of the race. They did this with no direction from Ted Cruz.
If anyone is to blame for that ClusterF***, it is Carson and his staff who foolishly said that he was "going home".
Its dirty politics and Ted forever stained himself by practicing it. Ted can still rehabilitate himself, but the first step in fixing a problem is admitting that he made many mistakes and acted in a very dirty manner.
Except that he didn't. *HE* didn't do that. *HE* didn't run the naked pictures of Melania in Utah. *OTHER PEOPLE* did these things, but the Hyenas out there pinned the blame on Cruz. Just as Trump has kooky supporters and advocates, so too did Cruz.
People were so intent on pushing their candidate that they forgot how to be truthful and objective.
Ted Cruz did something right. It doesn’t wipe out who he is. He is so crooked, when he dies they’ll have to screw him into the ground. He squandered the trust his supporters placed in him.
Claimed he only supported moving the H1-B visa quota up to 500% of it’s then present level, as a ploy against bad legislation.
Two years later he had to abandon support for it, because he was caught in the lie.
What ever, put words I did not say in my mouth. Like I said...unhinged.
I figured this was Ted’s opus and he’s going to go now.
Dear Your Highness. You may have France; it and a good portion of Europe, has been turned into a hell hole.
P.$. Don’t drink the water from the public fountains; they’re now being used as the middle eastern version of a bidet. 8 >/
