Hugh Laurie absolutely roasted Donald Trump and the entire Republican party during his Golden Globes acceptance speech tonight.
The actor won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Series, Limited Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television for his work in The Night Manager, and he began his speech by saying “Thank you first to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for this amazing honor. I suppose it’s made more amazing by the fact that I’ll be able to say I won this at the last ever Golden Globes…I don’t mean to be gloomy, it’s just that it has the words Hollywood, Foreign and Press in the title.”

Meryl Streep is trying to, uh, trump Laurie. She is a phenomenal actress, but I will never, ever see another movie she is in.
These people fail to grasp that the reason they are despised is that they display nothing but the most rabid form of intolerance in our country for every single person who dares disagree with them.

I did not hear any big laugh at his jokes. He rambled and got the musical hook. The title of this article is more than a bit exaggerated.
Oh that guy...watched a few episodes way back now...no longer care about these golden calf ceremonies. I saw this was on tonight. Never gave it a thought to watch.
Oh come now, our compatriots fired the first shot in the anti-globalist revolution with Brexit. Had we not prevailed with Trump that vote would be rendered meaningless, but as it stands now, God Save the Queen.
