The liberal ABC-Disney Television Network generated outrage during its televised coverage of the Houston Texans victory over the Oakland Raiders Saturday night in the Wild Card round of the AFC Playoffs, but it had nothing to do with the football.
Instead many viewers were annoyed at a promo for next Wednesdays episode of ABCs sitcom Black-ish, which features a predominantly African-American cast being decidedly anti-Trump in tone and nature.
In the promo, which bills the episode as the election through the eyes of Black-ish, Lucy (a white character played by Christine Reitman) tells her predominantly African-American co-workers: I voted for Trump! before adding the clichéd justification, Im a racist? I have black friends!
In another scene, her colleague Daphne (Wanda Sykes) appears to kick out at her for merely expressing that she had chosen to cast her vote for the Republican Party.
Meanwhile the shows protagonists Dre and Rainbow Johnson are seen looking crestfallen at the outcome of the election while in another scene Rainbow shouts Go Hillary!
The promo announcer goes on to promise: Oh theyll be tweeting about this one!
People already are tweeting about the episode before its being aired but its not what ABC owned by Disney wants to read. Football fans are objecting to Trump voters being ridiculed in such a tiresome and predictable fashion.
Why does the NFL keep playing an anti-Trump commercial for the terrible show Blackish? wrote one tweeter. They must not know their audience. Another viewer fumed: I am offended at the preview for the show #blackish about voting for Trump makes you a racist!
Matt Falk tweeted: No one watch #blackish. Not everyone who voted for Trump is a racist, That show caters to the lowest common denominator while Steve James declared on the online social networking service:

Excellent! Excellent! (Don't be held captive)
Get after these SOB's!
The only thing we can do is hit them in the wallet....keep OUR money from them.
Read my tagline.
He's not a dimocrat.
Wouldn’t know, didn’t watch. Blackball doesn’t matter to me anymore.
When they finally admit why their ratings are crashing ((political activism and political correctness gone wild), eventually, they'll have enough influence to change anything related to them.
I'm boycotting the NFL for the Kapernack anti-Americanism/anti-flag BS.
That won’t work..they are billionaires and money is no object....what they need up their collective asses is FEAR!! There’s a lot of looney folk out there if you know what I mean....wink wink!
Let them eat cake.
No. Haven’t watched a d@mn game all this year and proud of it. NFL, Roger Badhell and the rest of the politically correct billionaires can stick it.
“HOLY COW. (Can I still say that?)”
Guaranteed to offend Hindus! ;)
You would be amazed at the number of craplovers around the country. They are pretty the same people who voted for Satan's daughter in November (less the cemetery votes).
I stopped watching TV in 1959, when I realized all the programming & advertising was completely fraudulent.
A friend of mine saw it, said the commercial ran on forever, like it was an infomercial. Liberals are just absolutely hellbent on flaming race relations as much as they possibly can, that’s the bottom line. They ARE - truly ARE - scum of the earth because what they are doing it instigating cop shootings, kidnappings like we’ve seen last week, robberies, murder, riots and everything else the wackos feel is justified by this racism call.
“Black-ish” is a blatantly racist show masquerading as comedy. They did a “Black Lives Matter” episode earlier this year. It was advertised as one of those “special” episodes.
No thanks. Racism in any form is not funny.
Despite wisdom of great Americans like Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Dr. Ben Carson, and Sheriff David Clarke, it still appears to me that the great majority of blacks would welcome a race war.
soupy sales was fraudulent? Say it ain’t so.
I’m better than all of you, I threw out my TV in 1859.
They were right on the fence for renewal in Sept. As you know, the third season is critical for rerun packages, and thusly shares to the actors. Thus the ridiculous story line...
He had the gall to say, or at least imply, that black folks want jobs rather than welfare and the attendant limitations of the Democrat Welfare Plantation.
LOL, me, too. I confess, have to watch my Steelers any way I can!
Their goal for 2017 is for even less viewership.
