The woman is a PhD, a constitutional lawyer and successful author of a number of books. Why in the world would she need to plagiarize anything, knowing what it would do to her credibility and career?

it’s only a problem because she is not a democrat nor anti Trump. if she were a corrupt liberal it would be just fine.

Conservatives have to answer.. when they clean their side up... they can speak on this.. when sharpton pays his taxes.. we can talk....

New York Times Hires Reporter Who Sent Stories To Clinton Staffers For Approval

"Politico’s Glenn Thrush, who was exposed in WikiLeaks emails sending stories to Hillary Clinton staffers before publication, will be joining the New York Times to cover the White House, The Huffington Post reported Monday.

“We’re thrilled that Glenn Thrush is joining The Times,” Elisabeth Bumiller, The New York Times’ Washington bureau chief, told The Huffington Post. “He’s a premier political journalist, a master of breaking news and long-form story telling and a stellar addition to our White House team.”

While Bumiller described Thrush as a “premier political journalist,” in one email to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta, Thrush chose to describe himself as a “hack.”

“No worries Because I have become a hack I will send u the whole section that pertains to u,” Thrush wrote to Podesta in an April 2015 email. “Please don’t share or tell anyone I did this Tell me if I fucked up anything.”" Read the rest here.

If true, then Harper Collins has a LOT to answer for. Every book goes through multiple editors, and if there had been questions about any of this, it was their responsibility to address it with Monica. I know, because I’ve worked with Harper.

Don't they mean undocumented quotes?

iThenticate's Barrie: "we caught the speechwriter for Hillary Clinton plagiarizing"
KCRA | 6:30 p.m. newscast, July 6, 2006 | KCRA (NBC Sacramento)

Posted on 07/11/2006 10:13:59 PM PDT by StAnDeliver

Anchor: "And with us now is the president and CEO of the firm [John Barrie] called iThenticate. Thank you for being with us tonight..."

Q: "When the Post asks you to go after Ann Coulter, did you know what were you getting into there?"

Barrie: "Well, this is what happened. The Post came to us originally and they were doing a story about how Oprah Winfrey was using our technology to screen things for her show. And the Post wanted to see an example of how our technology worked. So they took a 2005 speech from Hillary Clinton and ran it through our service. And right off the bat, we caught the speechwriter for Hillary Clinton plagiarizing. And the journalist from the Post said what else can we run through your service? And a couple weeks later as the brouhaha about Ann Coulter and what she said about the 9-11 widows was reaching its peak, the New York Post called me back and said Ann Coulter's book "Godless" is what we want to run through your system. They digitized the book and took one year of her syndicated columns and sent it over to us to analyze."

Q: "What did you find?"

Barrie: "And we found as I mentioned, found some textbook cases of plagiarism in both her syndicated columns and in the book. And after finding about three or four instances in the book and three or four instances in the column, I said look, I just had enough of reading Ann Coulter and the Post said 'That's enough for us. There's our story.' And case proven I guess."

When will plagiarist Doris Kearns Goodwin disappear from PBS and other fifth-column leftist media shows?

There is no excuse for plagiarism.

That said, some on the left seem to get away with it.

Mister Biden was, IIRC, an enthusiastic and unrepentant plagiarist.

Another revered plagiarist was Alex Haley. To wit-- Because as Haley himself was forced to acknowledge, a large section of his book - including the plot, main character and scores of whole passages - was lifted from "The African," a 1967 novel by white author Hal Courlander

Let’s equal the playing field. We need to eliminate the MLK holiday for the same reason we are vilifying Crowley.

This plagiarist is applauded by the media and Democrats (but I repeat myself). And this boob is a heartbeat away from seizing power in the Oval Office. So don't try and make me upset that a comm director might have committed plagiarism.

Apparently they have different standards for Monica than they had for Blatant Plagiarizer Biden.

Joker Joe has been caught red-handed twice in his life for plagiarizing. Once in law school in a paper, I believe, and once as a candidate in a speech.

Looking at the side-by-side comparisons CNN presents, the information is similar but the sentence and paragraph constructions are different enough that a reasonable person wouldn't call it plagiarizing.

This is coming from CNN, not known for being truthful themselves nowadays. They have both a liberal agenda and propensity for creating and pushing fake news.

Geez, if they had vetted Obama and Biden like they are trying to do here, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

It’s bad unless your name is Doris Kearns Goodwin and you are a hardcore lib on MSNBC all the time, then its OK.

http://www.nytimes.com/2002/06/01/us/author-goodwin-resigns-from-pulitzer-board.html

The historian Doris Kearns Goodwin resigned yesterday from the board that chooses the winners of the Pulitzer Prize. The prize had begun an inquiry into accusations that Ms. Goodwin copied the work of others in her 1987 book ‘’The Fitzgeralds and the Kennedys.’’

The board released a terse letter of resignation from Ms. Goodwin. She wrote that she could no longer devote enough attention to the board because of the controversy surrounding the book and the need to work on a biography of Abraham Lincoln.

People involved with the 19-member board said they believed it was the first time a member had resigned because of a controversy.

Ms. Goodwin has referred all questions to her lawyer, Michael Nussbaum, who did not return calls seeking comment.

Ms. Goodwin acknowledged in January that her publisher, Simon & Schuster, reached a private settlement in 1987 with another author over accusations of plagiarism, agreeing to a payment and the addition of footnotes to the text.

Later, faced with the threat of new complaints, Ms. Goodwin admitted that she had inadvertently copied more passages than previously acknowledged — dozens — and from several sources, but she declined to give more detail

If this was a leftie, we’d tear them apart. A character issue is what it comes down to. People are faced with right and wrong everyday. Why is it so damn hard to choose right? And I do hold conservatives to a higher standard -they are supposed to take the high road.

Will she still be able to perform the job? Probably, but I personally don’t know if I’d give her the chance. YOUR FIRED!
