We are in the eighth week since the election until the Inauguration.

This will be DJT'S LAST FULL WEEK in NYC . Speculation as to if he will be moving immediately into the White House. Normal procedure is on the 20th there is a 6 hour window between evacuation of former and 'READY FOR BUSINESS' for new occupant. And the new occupant does not arrive to a wall of boxes. Clothes are in closets, food in refrigerator, china on shelves etc. Most suggest DEEP CLEANING, DEEP DE-BUGGING, DEEP CHANGING -- M-I-G-H-T be the agenda. We are Hoping for good weather for attendees. Even though everything will be shorter this time around, it can be mighty chilly awaiting outdoor events like the ceremony and parade.

You do NOT need a ticket to attend ceremony. Just to get in the "insider" area and trust me, unless you are in a very select area, that is not always ideal. There will be plenty of space to observe both the parade and be present and part of the swearing in ceremony. Jumbothrons will be present. There is talk of many regional celebrations.

This may be a shorter celebration, but substance will triumph over “style”!

No more “livin’ large on da man!”. I expect our new President will get more accomplished in the time between receiving the oath of office and the first ball appearance than that the Jug-Eared Kenyan did in his first year!

Hearing from someone who is privy to the inauguration day plans that Trump will only be attending a few balls (rather than the 8-10 normally attended by POTUS).

Also so far, the people performing at the inauguration ceremony are Jackie Evancho (National Anthem) and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (singing a newly arranged version of America, the Beautiful with the President’s Own Marine Band).

No Hollywood prima donnas - yay.
