President-elect Donald Trump has fired, effective Inauguration Day January 20, every U.S. ambassador politically appointed by President Barack Obama, according to a report published Thursday night by the New York Times.
The Times reports the State Department sent out a notice on December 23 informing the ambassadors of Trumps order. The move sent shock waves through the diplomatic corps as some ambassadors in previous transitions had been given time to leave their post for personal convenience.

Trump has no time for *personal convenience*.
LOVE IT!!!!
I’m not tired of winning yet.
Here’s a thrilling one that just crossed my mind:
Buy-Bye Valerie Jarrett! Get the hell out of our White House.
Ohhhhh, I can’t stand all this winning. After 8 years of this, I won’t be able to recognize Obamamerica any more!
They usually get to languish into the early first term of the new POTUS - he's giving them the 2 week notice to ensure they are out when he's in - I really love this guy...
...such an excellent beginning
An excellent move and a huge mistake when Bush didn’t fire all of bubba Clinton’s appointments that continued to undermine Bush his entire terms.
If an Obama political appointee did not know on Nov. 9 that they should make themselves ready to leave by Jan. 20 they are too stoooopid to be in their position anyway.
Well that is surely the case for many of them....
My friends in the Dominican Republic will be happy with that. They were very pro-Obama, until he sent an ambassador whose values were at complete odds with the predominately Catholic country.
GMTA.
That is far more important than firing the ambassadors. But the ambassadors are a good first step.
>> Anybody that did not resign in disgust of Obamas policies cannot be trusted with Americas interests.
If I were in a position of power (military, state department, intelligence agency) when 0vomit took office, I would have kept my job and NOT resigned. Why? Not for the money or because I have any respect for 0vomit, but in order to try to minimize the damage he would cause and to keep tabs on what was happening around me. If all the conservatives and intelligent people had resigned, it would have given the idiot and evil progressives free reign to do what they wanted. The conservatives who are in those jobs are at least a speed bump in the path of the progressives and hopefully have kept good records on who was doing what. We need those records for the many coming prosecutions.
They better get right on that. There is going to be a YUGE backlog when we start prosecuting all the criminals in the 0vomit administration. There will be more than a few Republicans who need to be imprisoned for corruption as well.
Both should not only be fired, but prosecuted.
"Obama critics argue that he appointed his czars in an attempt to circumvent congressional oversight. Just nine months into Obama's presidency, Representative Steve Scalise introduced the Sunset All Czars bill to sack all of the administration's czars not confirmed by Congress. In 2011, House Republicans voted on another Scalise amendment to defund the remaining czars."
Thanks for that list.
Thrilled to see Costos (Spain), a political campaign bundler, get kicked out. His boyfriend, Michael Smith, is Bathhouse Barry’s interior decorator. He did the WH and all of their houses, including this new one in DC two doors down from sicko Tony Podesta. Also, the one “in the neighborhood” near them in CA. That’s how Costos got the appointment. Then, Malia was given an internship with Costos in Spain this last summer. She chose to dump that once in a lifetime experience for more mind altering experiences with drugs and alcohol.
Tee hee, one less Kennedy. Looking forward to the day they’re unknowns in the political world.
I just looked him up. I see he brought his “husband” with him. It’s embarrassing. It makes us look like we are a gay country. Obama has been pushing his gay agenda not only upon us but upon other countries as well.
