I am normally a Trump supporter. I also think his use of Twitter is innovative and brilliant. However, I do think that type of name calling is un-Presidential. It is possible to say the same thing in a different, more subtle way.

"It is possible to say the same thing in a different, more subtle way."

It is possible, but President-elect Trump plays smash mouth with his opponents. One of the big reasons he was elected. MAGA!!!

Thinking you must not have heard two Manhhatten New Yorkers talk to each other. Yes, I too think it can be nauseating, but hey . . . it seems to be who they are.

Yeah, it worked so well for Bush and the rest of the Repubs. Just stand aside and make sure your gloves don’t get messed.

You miss the point

the point is to use a 2 x 4 about the head and shoulders to induce enough pain to get the mule’s attention

Being nice has got us where we are today. I’ll bet you are PC to the core

Mountbatten thought Patton was too crude for war too. Guess which one won WWII?

In an earlier time, I’d agree. But we live in crude and ignorant times where truth is swept under the rug as “hate” and soft spoken lies are the only acceptable discourse. Trump’s “in your face” statements are necessary. The Romans learned that calling barbarians citizens only worked until the barbarians wanted to take over. Schumer isn’t a clown. He is a lying douchebag. It’s time for a Republican with a microphone to point that out.

We have tried "decorum" since Reagan while the far-left went into the gutter and look what has happened to America. I am so tired of Republicans fighting with one hand behind their back. The founders were masters of ridicule and yes, they did resort to name calling. Trump knows what he is doing, it is called winning

The gloves are off. Who is not tired of seeing a Republican president acting all 'Presidental-like' as he abandons conservatism?

Time for a curb stomping Republican POTUS.

In this era of over the top PC run amok there is no more time for subtly. You like Make America Sick Again? How subtle is that?

“...name calling un-Presidential...”

I live in New York State and Chuckie Schumer is a complete clown and disgrace due to his absurd political spin and comments.

I agree that a president must not be unseemly, however! this is an instance of Trump speaking truth to “power” (Chuckie’s self-inflated version of his own power).

Trump is not randomly name-calling for its own sake; Schumer indeed is a clown. This is nuanced, however there is a difference and Trump does not cross the line into pettiness because Schumer is so pathetic in his version of demonrat spin.

Our radio news at the top of the hour all day yesterday subjected us to Chuckie’s absurd statement that “millions of New Yorkers will suddenly be without healthcare”- this was the poisonous statement he put out yesterday that the media ran with. It is a “clown” statement because it is simply untrue.

Thank you Trump for calling out Chuckie Schumer.

How’d playing nice nice work out for George Bush? It’s the end of P C speech; then good. It’s time for plain talk.

I think it’s a perfect response to a Progressive themed meme that the GOP “wants to make America sick again”. Next comes starving seniors, enslaving women and euthanizing the sick.

What polite response do we owe them when they use this language against us?

I think calling them clowns is about as polite as you should get vs destructive rhetoric.

If Trump’s observations were incorrect, I would agree with you. After being called racist, homophobes, misogynistic, ad nauseum, his supporters, such as I, hope he makes a list and goes down it periodically. The media can’t control the narrative! Suck it up!

Each president has his own style. What is “presidential” for one person is cow towing to political correctness for another. I think Clown is absolutely proper and correct as it reflects the TRUTH.

I don't have a problem with the name-calling.

I DO have a problem with a message that should be extremely effective but is undermined by the fact that the person who posted it can't spell "led" correctly.

Perhaps he means to say that Chuck is a jester because Schumer has to know what former President Clinton said about how bad is Obamacare. Is Schumer exaggerating to be funny or is he fishing for something that sticks?

If Chuck Schumer is pretending that Obamacare is successful when everyone already knows that it is a stupendous failure, he has to be clowning around.

I've said for months that Trump's presidency is going to be viewed by Freepers (and most Americans) this way:

1. The best thing about Trump is that he sees his life as a series of pro wrestling matches on TV.

2. The worst thing about Trump is that he sees his life as a series of pro wrestling matches on TV.

You seem to think this "Clown Schumer" Twitter episode falls into Category #2, but I think it's the opposite. LOL.
