Driven by terror threats and a potential Hillary Clinton administration, sales of guns in America soared to record levels in 2016, according to the FBI.
Just released FBI background check numbers, which roughly equate gun sales, totaled some 27,538,673, 4 million more than in 2015 and nearly double the number in President Obama's first year.

And ONE MILLION of them went to California Residents!
I bought my last Long Gun here in CA before they required them to be Registered.
The only Gun I own that is Registered is my little 9MM.
The rest of my Pistols have been owned for years, long before the CA Stasi decided that my Constitutional Rights were negotiable.
These high sales figures make me think that Americans own more than the 300 million guns shown in some estimates. While many gun owners have more than one gun to enjoy different calibers, I keep reading that the number of legal first time buyers is increasing. I certainly hope this trend continues and that local ranges begin to catch up with demand.
Obama and Hillary can finally legitimately say they helped to boost the US economy. Between them they are responsible for the most firearms to be purchased in a single year ever...lmao

Between the seats Obama has lost nationwide for dems and the sheer number of guns he has sold, I wonder if he is a Republican in disguise?

I bought three, 2 more Marlin 60’s and a Marlin 30, all made in the 1980’s so they did not add to the total number of guns in circulation.
Many of those NICS are for previously existing guns and do not add to the total number of guns.

The ‘lower’ is actually called a ‘receiver flat’ that is bent using a hydraulic press you can buy for cheap at Harbor Freight. I am using a 6-ton.
There are lots of resources online that teach you to build your own and heat treat your own receiver (which is only done to the hammer and trigger pin holes).
