Charles Manson, the 1960s cult leader who orchestrated a series of high profile murders, was taken to the hospital Tuesday for an undisclosed medical issue, the Los Angeles Times reported.
One of the sources familiar with the situation told the newspaper Manson, 82, was seriously ill, but could not provide specific information.

At 82 I wonder what that swastika on his face looks like lately? Straight line?
Stick a fork in him.
And I like your screen name. Give my regards to Orko and Ram-Man!
POS should have been dead a long time ago.
I am sorry, I shouldn’t have said anything.
No worries. It’s all good :-)
We need to give his the best healthcare available to keep him alive... /sarc
Personally, I hope he lives forever, so the taxpayers who did away with the death penalty can continue to support him.
Another jOkeass pardon coming.
On a local am radio station, KFI, one of the host pondered if that was part of the sentencing guidelines, that if Manson got sick, he had to go to a Bakersfield hospital.
I think California has the death penalty, so I wondered why he was still "with us". Perhaps because he was not directly involved in the murders?
I always thought that swastika on Manson’s forehead would be a nifty target.
Charles Manson is one of the rare people (like Obama and Hitler) who represent pure evil. The world will be better without Manson.
Wasn’t there a period of time when the death penalty was overturned and lots of death row inmates were given life without parole instead? Then when it was reinstated those inmates kept their life sentences rather than having their death sentences reinstated.
I believe you’re correct on that one.

"It was at the Chicago home of [Bill] Ayers and [Bernardine] Dohrn that Obama, then an up-and-coming 'community organizer,' had his political coming out party in 1995. Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World - where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working 'only to educate' - both Obamas tended to the relationship with the Ayers."

Iirc CA abolished the death penalty in the 70s and death sentences were commuted to life in prison. Those commutations were not reversed when the death penalty was reinstated. Manson’s sentence was one of those commuted, I think.
I’m curious about what happens when he dies. Did he marry that woman who was visiting him? Does he have family who will claim his body? Where will he be buried? He still has followers and his grave could become a sort of shrine to the looneys.
