Megyn Kelly, who arrived at Fox News 12 years ago as a television news neophyte but rose to become one of its two biggest stars, has decided to leave the network to take on a broad new role at NBC News for an undisclosed amount, people briefed on the negotiations said on Tuesday.
The NBC News chairman, Andrew Lack, wooed Ms. Kelly away from Fox News by offering her a triple role in which she will host her own daytime news and discussion program, anchor an in-depth Sunday night news show and take regular part in the network’s special political programming and other big-event coverage.
The move will herald a seismic shift in the cable news landscape, where Ms. Kelly had become the second-most watched host — after Bill O’Reilly of Fox News — and often helped define the national political debate, especially over the last year as Donald J. Trump regularly attacked her, at times in viciously personal terms.

I can take her or leave her, but I don’t remember that happening. Yeah, she aired the claims, but I don’t think she either stated or implied that they were true. Do you think the media should black such claims out? For example, if a conservative woman claimed a Dem politician raped of molested her?
Reports are that Mika Brzezinski is perfectly happy to share the role of NBC's preening, moueing, brutally dumb blonde.
I remember how excited Kelly was that 0dunga won the election. This meant more fodder for Fox News, and more to talk about. Now that Trump has won, she’ll have to go to a place where there’s more fodder; the opposition party network!
Right where she belongs.
Just leave already. I hope it is a career buster too and that you become as irrelevant as you became on Fox. Pretty faces as easy to find, and since yours in hardly that it makes it that much easier.

Fox needs to hire Lynne Russell out of retirement to replace kelly.
I enjoyed her interviews and quick wit over the years. Over time, her interviews became less interesting and factual and have become mere pandering to a more reality based teevee culture.
Sorry she caved.
Never watched her, but aware of her antics through freerepublic and YouTube.
I would guess that NBC hired her to eff with President Trump.
No way she gets that gig without Trump.
The question is, who will replace her? There are a lot of possibilities. I wonder if they could steal Liz Wheeler away from One America News or Dana Loesch from Beck’s network. If Dana colors her hair blonde, then we know she’s auditioning for it....
