Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus said recently in a December interview that while GOP President-elect Donald Trump can roll back social change in the military, doing so will make the force weaker.
Mabus, who has served in the position longer than anyone since World War I, has overseen significant social changes in the military and caused a lot of consternation in the process. Now, in a wide-ranging interview with The Washington Post, hes warning that if Trump rolls back social change in the military, he should admit that it will damage the force.
You make the decisions you think are right, right now, regardless what you think is going to happen in the future, Mabus said. But we are stronger because of this integration. That is undeniably true. So, if it gets rolled back, youre weakening the United States military. Youre weakening the Navy. Youre weakening the Marine Corps. If thats what you want to do, okay. But you have to be honest about it.

> No females in combat.
That means no females of either sex.
Hopefully Trump will FIRST roll back the Sec of the Navy.
I want to qualify my statements by saying that I've never been in combat. My dad, judging by the CAR he picked up somewhere in his 20+ year career, was involved in combat operations, and he is of the opinion that women belong nowhere near the front of any conflict, or even in immediate support of any conflict. A former co-worker of mine, who served multiple tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan as an Army Ranger, is of the opinion that women belong nowhere near the front of any conflict.
“Oh brother . . I dont think these libtards can be reeducated!”
Like the old saying goes, “You can lead a liberal to logic; but, you can’t make them think.”
Public pre-emptive insubordination.
Simply unacceptable, no explanation needed.
Yeah...the Navy will improve 100%, there won’t be as many SINGLE, pregnant women in the military, and subs’ll be a better place to live in.
And Ray Mabus will gone soon. So who cares what he thinks or says! The Navy brought back the old ranks/job descriptions already. No feminazis died.
“there will be consequences...”
for our enemies.
“No females in combat.”
I’m a female and I say AMEN. Men and women were made different by the one true GOD OF ABRAHAM,ISSAC, AND JACOB period! However, what can you expect from an administration who tells people that they don’t know what gender they are, even by looking?
You got it, brother!
Give them desk jobs, etc. stateside. Phase out the ones that are in...and don't replace 'em.
This will eliminate gobs of serious problems, bad situations, ongoing extra costs.... ...not to mention moral problems.

There will be consequences.
Yeah. For one thing, the number of childbirths in ranks will drop sharply.
Stock those submarines with lots and lots of condoms.
Mabus replaced “Top Gun” with, “Top Bunk”..
In concept, there are females in the overlapping area not identified with the red hashing which indicates the area where you will not have even the top percentiles of women competing at the same levels strength-wise.)
What it means is that you will find women at the peak of fitness and strength who will be able to compete with men (who are closer to the men's average) strength-wise. (The assumptions are mainstream assumptions made by health care and industry based on peer-reviewed research. The graph is not exact, but it is based on the peak that a female can achieve is always going to be 25 percent below the peak a male can achieve, all other things normalized. That is accepted knowledge as well.
But when you go further to the right of the average for men, you will find fewer and fewer women who have strength. Then, you reach an area, where you will not find any women at all who can compete with men. (Think Rangers, SEAL, Delta Force, or men in other jobs who work out.)
So the issue isn't about individual strength of one person, it is about everything else associated with a mixed gender military. The bifurcated parts of the supply chain, the need for separate facilities for privacy, the increased injuries women encounter doing work, the pregnancy issues, and the general issues of putting men and women of childbearing age together in dangerous environments far from home, and the resultant decrease in morale due to all things associated with that.
I am not in favor of raising the bar and saying anyone can do any job they want if they can get over the bar, because it doesn't address any other of those real issues.
This in no way means women cannot serve our country honorably. They simply should not be on combat naval vessels or serve in front line combat units where that red hashed area in the graph above can make the difference between saving a sinking vessel or winning an armed engagement, and the PC benefits are insignificant in comparison.
I want Donald Trump to go in and ask for the resignation of EVERY SINGLE PERSON he can ask it of. If there are too many to do at once, do it bit by bit. These people need to go. Anyone who served under Obama needs to be gone STAT.
“My daughter still gives me grief about grabbing the cooler first.”
If it didn’t have beer in it you really have no excuse!
Short and simple YOUR FIRED! RESIGN NOW!
I am not sure about beer but it had matches and drinks and sandwiches. All necessary for a bunch of hungry canoers. I remember a nice fire on the sandbar.
Well, yeth. I wiwl hol’ my breaf and turn blue.
