Scathing criticism of President Obama’s decision to expel 35 Russian diplomats is pouring in, with the perhaps curious exception of the leaders of the Republican establishment.
A senior congressional staff member told WND, “What’s amazing to me is how the Obama administration is pursuing a scorched earth policy and attempting to destroy our international relationships across the spectrum from Russia to Israel on their way out the door.”
The aide noted the U.K. and Australia “are openly at odds with them.”
“It’s a mess – and what’s worse, it’s an unnecessary one,” the top staffer concluded.
Rep. Dave Brat, R-Va., said Obama “seems intent on setting the world on fire the month before he leaves office.”
“First he betrays our ally Israel, and is now taking retaliatory action against Russia all within a week,” the congressman continued.
“And he’s doing this without any consultation with Congress, that has yet to see a promised report providing proof that Russia interfered in our election. So, why now?”
“Memo to the president: You lost,” editorialized the New York Post.
“In his waning days in the White House,” the paper continued, “President Obama is desperately trying to make his policies as permanent as possible by tying the hands of his successor,” by presenting President-elect Donald Trump “with a foreign-policy crisis immediately upon taking office.”
Even the left-leaning New York Times conceded Obama’s move “appeared intended to box in President-elect Trump, who will now have to decide whether to lift the sanctions on Russian intelligence agencies when he takes office next month.”

Trump could start by immediately arresting and taking odumbo into custody for treason the minute he is sworn in. Make an example of odumbo to show the nation NO ONE is above our laws including the POTUS. Such action would show the world a new sheriff is in town. (Oh, how I would love to see that happen)

Another imagining. I imagined how good it would be if Putin managed, somehow, to covertly protect TRUMP during his open air events, during Inauguration. He wants TRUMP in office, badly.
Putin and TRUMP may come to cross purposes soon enough on their own, but right now the disdain Putin has for Obama has to be palpable and salting Barrack’s wounded ego by leaning into TRUMP serves Putin’s purposes perfectly.

Ryan stepped back into the dog doo-doo with his comments - he seems to either not understand that Obama is attacking Trump......or.....he saw an opportunity to get in a last dig of his own before the inauguration.

Which is why it bears repeating: the control of the entire U.S. Military complex needs to be immediately removed from this evil, insane POS....including the launch codes. Years ago, I owned a beautiful 1920’s era Craftsman-Style two family house in Boston. It had all the original French Doors, hardwood floors and Gumwood trim. I was a very “nice” landlady, giving privacy and leeway to the tenants, and didn’t complain about noise, cooking odors, etc.
We had a couple living there who just stopped paying their rent. I kept begging them for the rent and they kept putting me off. I finally had to initiate eviction proceedings.
When the constable finally got them to leave, they took revenge by trashing the apartment. The expense was considerable, but what really hurt was the profound sense of betrayal. I did NOT deserve that!
Obama is acting like those rotten tenants. My younger sister, who voted for him twice is presently experiencing this same feeling of betrayal. Her eyes have been opened.
I think it is total disrespect for the poser who is our president. I almost, almost felt sorry for our president, then I realized it is our country who needs sympathy.
He's only a bully because he has others to do the actual fighting. By himself, he is and would be pathetic in a knock-down, drag-out altercation.
That fight would literally be finished before you or I even knew it had started.
Can we hope that someone with sense has swapped the nuclear football with a jack-in-the-box?
Maybe a few but make no mistake, if he ran again 90% or more would vote for him.
