President Obama’s punishment of Russia for allegedly hacking the emails of Democratic Party operatives to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election ignores at least two important facts.
For one, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, whose hacktivist organization released the thousands of emails that shed damaging light on Hillary Clinton and her allies, denied the Russians were the source.
In addition, the Obama administration has developed a reputation for manipulating intelligence for political purposes.
The administration announced Thursday that through an executive order, Obama sanctioned two of Russia’s intelligence services, the GRU and FSB, and declared 35 Russian intelligence operatives “persona non grata” in the U.S. Also, the U.S. is shutting down Russian compounds in Maryland and New York.
‘Personal beef’
Earlier this month, in a speech to donors in New York City, Hillary Clinton blamed her defeat on Russian President Vladimir Putin, claiming “a personal beef” with her prompted him to meddle in the U.S. presidential election.
“Vladimir Putin himself directed the covert cyber attacks against our electoral system, against our democracy, apparently because he has a personal beef against me,” Clinton said. ”He is determined not only to score a point against me but also undermine our democracy.”
Clinton claimed that Russia had hacked both the Democratic National Committee and her campaign chairman, John Podesta, and released the emails to Wikileaks in a plot to boost Trump.
Clinton called for Congress to set up a commission similar to the commission set up after the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center.

This was my first thought when it started to break that HRC was so reckless - "How many precious HUMINT sources were compromised?"

Obama is trying to change the subject, hoping people don’t realize what he is doing.
First he claimed the Russians hacked the election. But since there is no proof because they did not, now he is saying they hacked some emails. But this shows he was completely wrong when he and Hillary claimed they hacked the election.
Short of a direct military threat on the US, I think that the military would disobey such an order up and down the line. Yeah, a few rogue generals would try to carry it out, but the core leadership and enlisted personnel, I think, would outright refuse. It would be a risk, but I don't think that false allegations of "hacking" are grounds for ANY military action.

The only reason Obama is doing this is to throw a wrench in Trump’s works, muddy the waters with Russia, and illegitimately extend his influence into the next administration
What if the Obama regime started a war with Russia and the Trump half of the country did not show up for the action?
Things are indeed scary when the elites are willing to risk war with Russia. While they could be incredibly stupid, I’m sure that they have a plan, and whatever it is - this must mean that they have their bunkers ready and are sure that they can survive such a holocaust.
They have deliberately set the Middle East on fire, totally destabilized Europe, and systematically weakened America, using economics, continuous depletion of military assets, and disinformation/psops.
Why is it that they want the Nation States all over the world to fail? Could it be that Nationalism poses an impediment to their One World Government?
In the past, we had leaders who cared for our people, we faced the prospect of mutually assured destruction, but we at least had civil defense programs, and people were taught how to improve their chances of surviving a nuclear attack, and provisions were made for shelters.
The nuclear threat did not go away with the fall of the Soviet Union, in fact with “loose nukes” unaccounted for, I would argue that the threat was as great as ever. Yet, for years now, no effort from our government to protect it’s citizens, nor to educate them on survival from radiation.
The advice to have 3 days food and water stored is laughabley inadequate for natural disasters that happen often, let alone a nuclear event.
Now you would think that would be important in case of a Fukashima type disaster even if they thought that there was zero danger of nuclear attack. Clearly they don’t care for the people here or elsewhere.
In January 2009, the World Economic Summit was held in Davos. It was reported in LSM that George Soros attended and had a little get together which included Bill Gates, and Oprah - wish I could remember the rest, but I don’t.
Anyway per the news reports, the number 1 problem facing the world they all agreed was OVERPOPULATION. However, not reported was their solution-so use your imagination.
Pretend that you are a wealthy evil person with no regard for humanity(alleged Soros type), and you have private underground bunkers and all your political cronies do too through the continuity of government- what sort of solutions could such people come up with?
New diseases-biological warfare, sneaky sterilization in foods and grains, wars, wars, and more wars? Let your imagination soar-like Trump said, “these people do not have your best interests at heart”.
In the cases where things are done that make no sense to us, it almost always boils down to two things: Money or Power and usually both.

They are trying to drive home the “spin” that Russia hacked the election, allowing people to conflate the idea that WikiLeaks emails added up to vote fraud (while ignoring real vote fraud committed by his own party).
And he is trying to box Trump in, so that either Trump becomes complicit in O’s attacks on Putin, or he appears to be in league with Putin.
The best thing Trump can do is laugh it off. Let the public know that he is not bound by any of this.
We already know Obama is a liar, and he just proved it again this week with the UN vote and Kerry’s nonsensical speech. And we have no reason to believe anything put out by his appointees over at CIA. We already know they cannot be trusted... they are in bed with ISIS, for heaven’s sake.
It hasn’t been that long ago that intel analysts were resigning because their reports were being rewritten to fit the White House’s view of the situation. Our intel agencies have been thoroughly politicized and need to be cleaned out. Trump needs to clean house there, and over at State. Anyone involved in the recent UN resolution needs to find himself teaching junior college somewhere next year. Anyone involved in arming ISIS needs to be cooling his heels in Leavenworth.
