Brooklyn Rouse had been delivering pizzas for Papa Johns for exactly two weeks when she was shot in the head on the day after Christmas.
Monday evening, 21-year-old Rouse was on her way to Macons Bloomfield neighborhood with two pizzas. Just five days before, her 23-year-old co-worker, Duncan Siror, had been shot in the shoulder while delivering a pizza to an address just a mile and a half north of where she was headed.

My prayers go out to her.
Prayers for the young lady.
Trying to bravely work for a living instead of looting . Papa johns needs to stop delivering to areas.
Hope the girl recovers. Sad sad story
Because they co-conspirators in the shootings.
Because Black lives only matter when Whitey shoots them.
I hope and pray she is doing well!!!
1969 RVN, I was shot in the left cheek.
I had the BEST working on me, I do hope she too has the very best working on her.
I live in the ‘hood here in Memphis. No pizza company will deliver to my house anymore.
Can’t really blame them.
May God Bless and heal this beautiful, hardworking soul.
Because only Black THUGS matter to those people.
A pizza place my daughter worked for had a couple published no go zones for the drivers.
She was not a driver btw.
God love her. Did she need the work that much? Jamie-my-hairdresser delivers pizza for Dominos. I hope she’s not taking life-and-death risks: she has two young sons.
I worked for many years with a lady who, when in college, delivered pizzas. She was also well versed in a number of martial arts. Two yahoos tried to rob her with a baseball bat. She had a katana and it left a most definite impression on them.
Beautiful, dependable, eager to work.
May the Lord grant her a most-skilled medical - surgical team and the grace of a full recovery.
May the filthy assailant get justice: swift, severe, and certain.

I drove for Domino’s Pizza in Meriden CT (small, post industrial poor city) about 25 years ago. I would not go to Springdale Ave. after 10PM, that was the Diablos turf. If I knew where the Latin Kings hung out, I wouldn’t have gone there, either.
