To me, it boils down to one or two reasons. 1. He listened to the people that were unheard by the elected elite (which is most of the elected). 2.People were tired of the government, all the government and the things the government did that the people had no say over.

Trump is probably the last chance we have to return the government, at least in part, to the people. Margaret Thatcher did the same for Britain, but only held back socialism and the EU for a short period. If Trump can clean out State (which no one had been able to do) then we have a chance. My opinion only.

Their thesis boils down to Trump was elected by racist whites who felt put upon and losing their place under a black president rushed out to vote while liberals disheartened by Bernie’s loss to the corrupt Clinton failed to vote. *Yawn*

Maybe a point to be said about apathy toward Clinton. Based on the title I thought maybe they were going to make a deeper argument about macro trends and Trump’s trajectory in life. “American Thinker” might want to change their title to “American Talking Point Regurgitator” if this is the level of their thinking.

and even the most confident Trump supporters couldn’t help but start preparing for a loss.

Sorry but I never prepare for a loss. I became convinced that Trump was going to be our nominee and that he would then win the presidency in October 2015 after I saw him at a rally.

And many, though not all, Freepers agreed with me. We knew that the democrats nominated their worst nominee ever and the Republicans nominated a REAL change agent running for President of a country that was DEMANDING change.

Shrillary: In no particular order. -—

We didn’t want to elect the titular head of the Clinton Corrupt Crime Organization to be President—we want RICO charges instead.

She only visited 37 states==which means she ignored 26 % of the states in the USA.

She called voters a number of names, but DEPLORABLES stuck with us all...

She was filmed requiring assistance a number of times, which put doubt into voter’s minds about her overall health & possible longevity in the Oval Office. Her VP choice wasn’t a viable successor to her if she was unable to do the job. He looked & behaved like an extra in the back of the bar scenes in ‘CHEERS’.

She took off many days in a row—many times——’to prepare for a debate’, which left voters also wondering how she could handle a crisis of lingering time frame in the office of President.

She would have brought “Pervert In Chief Bill Clinton back into the White House-—we have seen enough of him & his antics.

Her behavior when in the White House in the 90’s with her nasty attitudes & rules for those who worked to support the White House & the Secret Service was not a secret to many voters. She is downright nasty.

She depended on the media to tell lies about Trump & to support her unconditionally.. They did-—but America is tired of it all..

The FAKE NEWS has been going on so long, we are just about immune to all their rhetoric.

She lied to the faces of the families of those who were killed in Benghazi. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

She lied to Congress.... ABOUT EVERYTHING — Her private server is just another extension of the attitude of the Clintons—they can do as they wish without consequences...

The revelations about the ‘work around the rules’ concerning the extremely highly paid ‘speeches’ both Bill & Shrillary gave to pad their bank accounts were considered smarmy by many, including myself.

Bill & his known sexual attacks are far worse than the language that was recorded by Billy Bush in an informal—OFF THE RECORD— setting with DJT.

Shrillary made it very clear that she would TAKE OUR GUNS AWAY, leaving us defenseless against the ‘refugees’ & the illegal invaders some of us live with every day in our residences & work places.

Shrillary made it very clear that she would NOT build a wall or do anything to deter the influx of the illegals, who are stealing millions of support dollars from working taxpaying CITIZENS.

Shrillary made it very clear that she would aggressively continue the policies of Obama—the fake, not eligible President—and we had enough of him.

Shrillary made it very clear that she supported Obamacare, which is strangling the country,.

Shrillary made it very clear that she would NOT demand voter ID & a better, cleaner voter roll system in all the counties in the USA. The ‘popular vote’ results prove that the voter rolls are seriously CONTAMINATED & need to be done away with & started over.

Shrillary wanted to eliminate the Electoral College & just have California & New York voting count. 48 states would have no say in the election of a President.....

For a hundred more reasons, she was NOT elected-—or electable.

NOW- I want her indicted in every possible case they can find against her & I don’t want her living high on the hog-—send her to Gitmo.

Providence, a manifestation of God’s foresightful care for his creatures, is why Trump won.
