“our” not “out new improved...” Morning fingers.
Black people want to be the only ones permitted to use what is normally a slur amongst themselves:
More black privilege.
Sounds like a good angle for a band, tangentially speaking, of course.
Is this the same argument used when the Feds were going to deny the Redskins getting trademark protection on their logo?
FTR, I’m not a fan of either label, but I think the free market should decide these things, not Big Brother.
So are some rap groups refused trademarks as well?
I guess they are on the batter
But “NWA” is made into a movie.
I am glad all other important problems have been solved, that the government has time for this.
Ok.
How about “The Gooks” or “The Chinks”?
This is so stupid, I’m laughing out loud over coffee.
They should be able to call themselves whatever they want.
Ever heard of N.W.A.?
This article is slanted.
Why not assume they had an interest in Chrysler engines?

The Ricers, LOL, I love it! Fa ra ra ra raaa, ra ra ra raaa!
“Ahh, Cato! My little yellow friend...”
- Inspector Closeau
“But NWA is made into a movie.”
Pretty much what I was thinking - they should call themselves “SWA”, and throw it back at ‘em.
Will Closeau and Cato be banned from FakeBook and Twaddle?
Slants? Really?
On the road, I avoid the slants. There is nothing more dangerous than road-mung. Penicillin is in your future.
I was a part of a band called A Pack of Crackers. No one was upset or threatened to sue us.
How many members in the band? If there are six, they can call themselves The Slant 6. That’s a Chrysler reference for the non-car-geeks among us.
Why is the government in this business? Slant would be allowed if the band was white. So it should be allowed if the band is Asian. Of course the band keeps its name. The question is whether it can claim its name as a Trademark. In other words. The government is saying everyone can use the name.
