We’re in the second week of our cold snap. Highs in the mid 20s and lows in the mid teens. It won’t warm up until Sunday, and then it will warm up just enough to snow. But we’re headed for a return to our normal rain by Tuesday.

THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK
COLE PORTER
BORN TO DANCE
VIRGINIA BRUCE: IVE GOT YOU UNDER MY SKINTonight is dedicated to one of Coles best known songs, a standard of the Great American Songbook, and one that immediately is identifiable as a Cole Porter tune. It was nominated for an Oscar in 1936. In the movie its Virginia Bruce who was the first to sing it. The way she handles the middle eight bars will give you chills.

Very Cool Song!
My sister is still visiting, so I don’t want to neglect her.
Will be posting sparsely tonight, if at all.
