Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton may have won the popular vote in the 2016 election -- and by an incredibly slim margin -- but her electoral vote is one of the lowest in recent history. Having won over 60 million votes (50.12 percent of the popular vote), Clinton gained only 228 electoral votes -- the lowest for any Democrat since Michael Dukakis ran in 1988.
"This is the worst Democratic performance in the electoral college since Dukakis 88," Chuck Todd, a news anchor for NBC, tweeted on Nov. 9.

:0) mine also!!!
LOL......a great gift under the tree.
Clinton and the Lib Media bought into the narrative they created — that Clinton would win.
They ignored the facts.
They refused to acknowledge that Clinton might lose. Even worse, they refused to believe that Trump might actually win. They got caught up in their own little bubble-universe.
Even on election night, during the early counts, they were ready to proclaim Clinton the winner. But, as the counts continued, many of those states changed. They were choking on their own numbers.
The flip side, which no one in the media is likely to report:
President Trump Wins More Electoral Votes Than Any Republican Since 1988 (George H. W. Bush, as a Reagan third term).
It was indeed satisfying to watch someone who wouldn’t cringe and defer to her, and who proceeded to verbally backhand her on national TV.
She was seething with fury. And that in itself was entertainment - watching that plastic grin start to break.
She messed with the wrong person. He brought a Louisville Slugger to the plate, and she was expecting a feather duster.
Play with Boys, expect a shot in the ‘chones.
>>she didnt win the popular vote. she got the most popular votes, but... approx 52% ( or 70 million) voted for someone else.
Nothing says that the presidential election requires a majority of the votes. If her 48% is higher than anyone else’s percentage, then she won it. The whole plurality vs majority thing is a red herring that no FReeper should waste time looking at. The real issue is the voter fraud that got her the 48%.
She didn’t win the popular vote as there is no such thing.
Ding ding...we have a winner!
You know, it’s funny the other side says “look at her popular vote win, that shows the elections was rigged in the states”. I say, how does one win so few states and have a two million popular vote win, UNLESS the fraud is occurring big time in heavily dem states in cities like Cali?
I’d love to go over those votes in Cali. If Detroit was caught cheating imagine what they’d find in the state of the “undocumented” voter?
The Russians are counting, the Russians are counting!
Which doesn’t add up with her bad showing in the EC, and the recounts didn’t help, and only showed Detroit is committing voter fraud. Imagine California!!
That popular vote they keep talking about is FAKE NEWS. I’m not saying she didn’t win it, but I bet it was by less than a million.
I stayed up election night until 4am in the morning and DJT was winning the popular vote until California reported all it’s districts. Then it flipped to Hillary and the more Cali counted their mail in ballots in the following days/weeks the larger her margin grew.
Not saying she didn’t come out ahead in the popular vote but anyone really wanna try to sell us there is NO fraud or illegals in Cali who voted by the thousands? Please.
Remember back in the beginning of the primaries:
‘THE TRUMP TRAIN’
WINNING AGAIN: Nobody likes a loser.
OUR ‘UNBIASED’ POLITICAL MEDIA: For a long time I’ve been the man the media loves to hate.
IMMIGRATION: Good walls make Good Neighbors.
FOREIGN POLICY: Fighting for Peace. The career diplomats who got us into many foreign policy messes say I have no experience in foreign policy.
EDUCATION: A Failing Grade.
THE ENERGY DEBATE: A lot of Hot Air.
HEALTHCARE: Is making us all sick.
ECONOMY: It’s still the Economy, Stupid.
NICE GUYS FINISH FIRST:I am really a nice guy, but I have a nasty habit that most career politicians don’t have: I tell the truth.
LUCKY TO BE AN AMERICAN: The day I was born I had already won the greatest lottery on Earth, I was born in the United States of America.
SECOND AMENDMENT: The right to bear arms.
OUR INFRASTRUCTURE IS CRUMBLING: There are some things so obvious that even Joe Biden can see them.
VALUES: Or how do I achieve happiness?
A NEW GAME IN TOWN: I don’t think the White House needs any bright neon signs on the roof.
TEACHING THE MEDIA DOLLARS AND SENSE: Trump will not run. He won’t officially declare his candidacy because the Ethics in Government Act requires those running for federal office to file disclosures of their personal finances.
A TAX CODE THAT WORKS: One thing that everybody agrees about is that our tax system doesn’t work.
MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN: We can take a crippled country and make it great again. Our country has been allowed to languish and become a tarnished, second-class place in the eyes of the world.
CRIPPLED AMERICA, written by Donald J. Trump.

Yeah, and not only that but poor ol’ Dukakis lost without his opponent having help from “russian hackers”. Think how badly Dukakis would have lost if Bush had had “russian hackers” on his side!
We won’t know until spring sometime
They all knew she had the highest negatives of any candidate they could have run.
I’d vote for a woman who reminded me of my wife every time.
Celllll-ebrate good times, come on!
The peepuls have not just spoken...they shouted out loud!
