Should fans be allowed to bring guns into stadiums?
Dec. 14, 2016 - 2:34 - Three Republican Washington state representatives introduce bill that would permit licensed firearms inside sports stadiums.

If I can't carry to defend myself, and my family, I don't go.
Most don't realize that if one can't lawfully conceal carry in the stadium, one can't walk to and from the stadium carrying and able to defend oneself - and perps know you're unarmed leaving the stadium.
See how real news sites report the news: breitbart: Washington State Lawmakers Push For Concealed Carry at Seahawks, Mariners Stadiums
Huh.
Never thought of that. Might actually work to keep some of the referee shenanigans to a minimum.
Dunno, you get some fans out in the parking lot like at Dodger stadium when they’re playing the Giants like the last time some Dodger fans put a Giant fan in the hospital.
Only on two conditions.
1. Some of FoxNews worst people are in the stands
2. Shooters get two freebies
Yea!Cops do and “shall not be infringed”
.
Yes, as long as their parole officer agrees to it.
.
” Kill him!!! Kill the umpire!!!” someone shouted from the stand.....
Okay, so the stadium is a private entity, correct?
Certainly the potential discharge of firearms in a dense crowd, even by police, can be problematic in some cases. Perhaps a friendly and courteous "check firearms at the door" policy might be an option.
Regardless, the stadium ownership is (or should be) at liberty to set firearms policies as it sees fit.
The market decides the rest...
Oh boy...I like this idea...I can think of MANY ways this would help with the parking lot; refs; ignorant 49er’s qb; oh yeah...let’s do this!!!
Only if they remain sober.
I don’t even like that in jest.
Fans can be a special group at times, if you catch my drift.
Most likely there is alcohol and drunks in the stadium.
My (limited) experience is that alcohol and guns don’t mix well.
Should be a decision made by the Owner of the Stadium.
Is this Rocket Science? Private Property is Private Property.
Many stadiums are public or publicly financed. Teams are private organizations who have contracts with the stadium owner. What do those contracts say?
Stated as if public money isn't subsidizing these stadiums.
.
Stadiums are usually public property.
.
Not Oakland
These target rich crowds, from what you've expressed, can't be trusted to manage their own affairs; these crowds deserve to be eyed for another Bataclan Concert Hall like event, or July 14th Nice France attack, let alone opportunity for the individual perps out there.
You would rather feel safe and protected like sheep.
Have at it. You are entitled to your opinion.
Benjamin Franklin at the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, when queried as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberation he was questioned - Well, Doctor, what have we gota Republic or a Monarchy?
Franklin responded - A Republic, if you can keep it.
Yes
Hey now!
I was for arming stadium goers, if for no other reason than to put fear into referees and maybe prevent some of their shenanigans.
