The Energy Department said Tuesday it won't provide the names of staffers who worked on climate policy or other issues to President-elect Donald Trump's transition team, even as it pledges to cooperate with the incoming administration.

Pretty close.
It is TIME to DownSize DC! Close entire Rogue/Un-Constitutional Departments, including their SWAT Teams.
Great, Perry wanted to eliminate the DoE or was that Education.
Doesn't matter, full speed ahead
Even those who can't be fired can be allowed to be gone through "attrition".
No severance. No unemployment. Benefits end immediately.
And IRS audits for the next 4 years.
Dude, it’s not an argument. I was just confused. If you meant Trump, I further understand you. I just wasn’t sure who you meant.
I agree that it looks like Trump wants to purge them, but I thought you meant Obama.
Hence the confusion.
Peace.
You would think that attentive folks would have been listening to Trump when he told the worlds largest aerospace contractor that Quid pro Quo was going to be a non-starter on his watch.
With the little "kings" being publicly drawn and quartered.
In the 80’s I worked for a major electric utility. Every two years DOE required us to complete an extensive questionaire re our fuel procurement for our power plants. The results produced boxes of paper. Often a DOE employee would later call seeking some of the same info already submitted in the boxes.
When told the info was already in their possession, they would complain that the boxes were in the basement somewhere and they didn’t want to dig it out. I delighted in telling them that I wasn’t going to do their job for them. They never used the info we were required to submit. They spent their time revising the questions to make sure they were time sensitive. It was a total waste of our time and taxpayer dollars.
The Energy Department said Tuesday it won’t provide the names of staffers
Well then I guess Rick Perry won’t provide his name on their Paychecks. And when he starts digging through the paperwork he will get their names anyway. win, win.
If they don’t provide the names then fire them all!!!
Just fire them all.
This is simply asking people to be accountable for their work, a concept government employees and teachers’ union bosses resist at every opportunity.
On January 21, Perry asks for this information. If refused, he immediately terminates the person refusing to give him the information. This continues until Perry has the information he wants.
It’s like the way the South Vietnamese Rangers interrogated captured VC (not entitled to Geneva Protections.)
Take them up in an old H-21 Flying Banana to about 1000 feet AGL. Ask questions of a Private. If no answer, throw him out the door.
Ask same question of second Private. No answer? Out the door.
By the time they got to the Corporals and Sergeants, they “understood” the benefits of cooperation with the “Armed Forces of the legally elected government of South Vietnam”
Shall we say, from that point forward, the “information flowed freely.”
He’s making a list
Checking it twice
Gonna find out who’s naughty or nice
SANTA TRUMP IS COMING TO TOWN!
Fire’em all Boss.
Each and every one.
And they wail, scream and caterwaul about letting other government services be privatized. The phuken hipocrites!
Hopefully when he finds out who they were, pink slips will be sure to follow. Plus, I hope he audits their books, and any he finds were involved in crony or unlawful deals should not just be canned, but barred from future federal employment.
As well, federal contractors need to be prohibited from hiring them, either. This will really hit home, as many of them are used to going back and forth from government to corrupt jobs in business, so they need to be kicked off the gravy train for good.
This will turn out ugly for these malcontents.
“..I hope he audits their books..”
Every Department and Agency should be audits as the first order of business. That is called good business practice whether in government or main street..
I would take a different approach. Since Kerry was playing such a big role in our energy policy, I would roll DOE into state department. T- Rex can determine what is in our best interests energy wide and together with Perry, and other energy czars create a new department that is useful and whack the rest.
Basically start with DOE and “de-politicize” every agency. Get rid of every constraining regulation. Then do another analysis and figure out what truly isn’t needed.
