Do You Know or Have You Ever Known a White Supremacist?
American Thinker ^ | December 13, 2016 | Christopher Chantrill

I get what the peerless Jen Palmieri was getting at a week ago. She was doing the liberal thing, hurling a liberal pejorative at Kellyanne Conway, breaker of the glass ceiling. She was playing the liberal race card. And if “raaaciss” doesn’t immediately come to mind, “white supremacist” will do the job.

Do liberals actually go to school to learn how to do this?

But still, I wonder. What exactly does “white supremacist” mean? Let us repair to the teachable moment of In the Heat of the Night when a black policeman arrives in a southern town to investigate a murder. The message is unmistakable. We liberals can send a black policeman down to the Deep South and you losers will like it. But still, there is a question. Is the marquee white supremacist the southern landowner icily showing Sidney Poitier around his orchid conservatory? Or is the real white supremacist the Rod Steiger police chief? Or the pathetic twitching soda jerk who actually dunnit?

Asking the question is the tactic offered by conservative criminology professor Mike Adams in advising a student who was told by his instructor that saying “all lives matter” is racist. You ask your liberal pejorative hurler three questions, writes Adams, and the first question is: “What do you mean by racism?”

It’s easy for Mike to say. He’s the tenured professor that won his suit against his university for denying him promotion to full professor. A student can’t afford to go up against the system, because the system has the power to wipe out the student’s investment in a college education.

At some point, we typical Americans have to stop doing the Cringe, and get right back in the liberal faces.

“There are probably more around than one realizes,.... I call BS on your post.”

Not BS. But, I suppose it is easy to call BS when one has not been around much, eh?

I head a saying once:

“Those who are most proud of their group often have the least to be proud of as individuals”.

Seen on the news a few years ago a Northern Neo-Nazi named J.T. Ready. He faked "border patrols" with news cameras called and ready. He could only get about 5-6 people in his group to show up. Looked like an idiot in fat guy camos.

This guy was "running for Sheriff" and started posting in our local Tucson newspaper comments which made me look him up. I concluded he was a flake and he probably could raise less than 10 like-minded others.

A day or so later he killed his family and himself.

Probably. That I know of. Plenty of garden variety racists, but that’s different.

My grandfather would turn over in his grave if he knew I married an oriental lady.

In Junior High in the 60’s, had a classmate who wanted to bust my jaw for being an “N” lover.

At our 20th High School reunion he was a very different Protestant Minister.

Neither of us addressed the altercation, and instead enjoyed the fact we’d grown up.

Keep in mind, at that earlier age, its most often parental influence.

Interesting that in Basic Training in 71, I saw no signs of it at all, except minor pandering from the DI.

I grew up in a rural county that was right on the verge of the old “plantation belt.” West, the county was foothills to mountainous and almost entirely white. East, the county was dominated by river bottom and had a large black population. In the western part of the county, there was a town with a Klan presence, an actual “sundown town” and they’d tell you so. The black kids on the high school teams didn’t like having to travel through there on the school activity bus on the way to other schools in the league. There were a few actual white supremacists there. That town has since turned into a bedroom community, a four lane highway was built in the sixties and upgraded to interstate later on. There are black residents now, some locally prominent. It’s a pretty place, nice mountain views. But, I could still point out, for anyone curious, the old crumbling cinderblock building where the Klan once met in that town, it was fairly notorious. Still there as far as I know, overrun by scrub pine and honeysuckle.

Aren’t all white people white supremacist at some point in time in their lives? Events do happen and some or simply disgusting and so disgusting that one’s point of view can be altered at least temporarily.

I recall from childhood that they had a Klan belt buckle that they wore, big old thing. Not exactly secretive.
