I get what the peerless Jen Palmieri was getting at a week ago. She was doing the liberal thing, hurling a liberal pejorative at Kellyanne Conway, breaker of the glass ceiling. She was playing the liberal race card. And if raaaciss doesnt immediately come to mind, white supremacist will do the job.
Do liberals actually go to school to learn how to do this?
But still, I wonder. What exactly does white supremacist mean? Let us repair to the teachable moment of In the Heat of the Night when a black policeman arrives in a southern town to investigate a murder. The message is unmistakable. We liberals can send a black policeman down to the Deep South and you losers will like it. But still, there is a question. Is the marquee white supremacist the southern landowner icily showing Sidney Poitier around his orchid conservatory? Or is the real white supremacist the Rod Steiger police chief? Or the pathetic twitching soda jerk who actually dunnit?
Asking the question is the tactic offered by conservative criminology professor Mike Adams in advising a student who was told by his instructor that saying all lives matter is racist. You ask your liberal pejorative hurler three questions, writes Adams, and the first question is: What do you mean by racism?
Its easy for Mike to say. Hes the tenured professor that won his suit against his university for denying him promotion to full professor. A student cant afford to go up against the system, because the system has the power to wipe out the students investment in a college education.
At some point, we typical Americans have to stop doing the Cringe, and get right back in the liberal faces.

The only white supremacist I’m aware of in politics was the Ex-president who claimed a black senator should be getting him coffee rather than taking part in electroral politics !
The only ones I have ever encountered were lifelong Democrats who never got over Lincoln freeing their family’s slaves.
No.
In fact, I believe if you go and just poll 10,000 people in Alabama (for example), I doubt if you find more than forty to say that they have met such a character.
It’s more likely that you’d run into a banjo picker, a minister who speaks Latin, or a PhD meth user.
Oh, come on. I’ve known white supremacists or Nazis. There are not that many, but they are around.
Yes, Hillary Clinton. She also lives in an All White Neighborhood, and refers to minorities as under educated individuals
The blather about “white supremacists” is an effort to delegitimize Judeo-Christian “Western Civilization”. Or, a different way to put it, the norms that lead to a happy and successful life.
If you conflate the norms of WC with skin color, you can drive a wedge, convincing people that these are not “authentic” to your ethnic traditions, then its an easy sell to convince people that their ethnic loyalties require they accept what the atheists are selling, even though nothing they are selling is authentic to anyone’s tradition that we would want.
If in the past whites made the mistake of conflating these norms with skin color, using skin color as short-hand for assumptions about people’s character, leftists now conflate the two for a very different reason, as a weapon to overthrow those very principles.
The tragedy is that it is WC and its judeochristian roots that have lifted people out of misery wherever they have take root, and where they have not taken root people live dark and hopeless lives. Perfect fodder for leftist demagogues, but without hope of finding the purpose God intended.
Yep. The problem with white supremacists is that most are horrible representatives for their cause. I don’t agree with their views. To me the dividing line is good and evil.
People who feel that African-Americans can’t succeed in America without targeted funding, quotas and skewed test scores are ‘white supremacists’
That's odd. I have not. I have, however, met a couple of black supremacists.
I’m a White Realist.
I know FOR A FACT that, according to studies around the world, Asians rank first in intelligence test and whites rank second. I do not hate Asians for being smarter (as a group) than my own race. I do not get feelings of jealousy of envy when they succeed in ways I cannot because I lack their genius or capabilities. I just want a fair shot in life.
I do not rob, rape or murder Asians to get back at “Yellows” like some people do to get back at “Whitey”.
I know FOR A FACT that my ancestors - probably because of unique confluence of genetically determined abilities and a dynamic, adventurous, achievement oriented culture - have created the modern world, its laws, its systems, its technologies, most of its dominant international languages, entertainment norms and so much more. White people did all of that. I am not ashamed of it. I see no reason to be ashamed of all of my people or all of my ancestors because some of them are or were evil and did evil things such as (perhaps) own slaves, start wars, commit genocide, etc. What they did was evil (if they did it) and I denounce it. I, however, am not responsible for ANY OF IT and will not only resent any attempt to pin any of it on me but will resist it with every weapon at my disposal.
I am a White Realist.
We had a Junior Klan group(CCC) in Winston-Salem. I knew one guy in it. He was a huge Rush fan until he began to spout that Rush wasn’t doing enough to help “his people”. Rush became the enemy. Weird.
Many liberals and Democrats.
I have not met an official, card-carrying member of a white supremacist organization, but they do exist.
What bothers me about this is that it is yet another effort by the Left to redefine language that has had a specific meaning. I, as one who appreciates and wishes to defend western civilization (and who has considerably less appreciation for some non-western civilzations) might be called a white supremacist. They are doing the same with “alt right”, which I take to be their replacement for “vast right-wing conspiracy.” And they did the same with “fundamentalist” in regard to religion, as if Jerry Falwell and ISIS were essentially the same.
Also, what good things have come out of Africa?
No
Well Al Sharpton said something how they invented math in Africa??
Yep.
A former bass student.
Sort of a long and funny story:
There was a little kid in the neighborhood I grew up in. He had two mean older twin sisters. Came and hung out where me and my band practiced. He decided he wanted to play bass, and so his mom and dad bought him one for his 12th birthday. I gave him some lessons for a few years, kind of mentored him playing in a band or two (how to keep drummers and guitarists in line etc). The fact he was a BIG kid helped with moving gear, mine included. He moved out and away when he was 16 and I lost touch.
Three years later, I was practicing with another band, we had a particularly beautiful lead singer who was Jewish and a psych grad from UC Berkeley. Suddenly there’s this LOUD knowck on the door, and a 6’7 or so guy busts in, “DANNY” he shouts. 18” arms grab me in a bear hug... It takes a second to figure out it was this kid. Massive arms covered with tats, including a few swastikas.
“DUDE! how have you been, just got back in town! went to a cross burning last week, it was so cool” - turns to band members -”oh hi! nice to meet ya” and then on to his day gig which supposedly involved collecting debts (I would have paid, I tell you!!) with the occasional bonus of getting to ‘beat up a Mexican or a N*****”
Needless to say, my band members were giving me a look that words do not describe....
Funny now, 25 years later or so....
