You just knew this was coming Republican leader Mitch McConnell warned today he will not pass Donald Trumps tax cuts.
Senate Majority Leader McConnell has a different plan. Bloomberg.com reported:
President-elect Donald Trumps race to enact the biggest tax cuts since the 1980s went under a caution flag Monday as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell warned he considers current levels of U.S. debt dangerous and said he wants any tax overhaul to avoid adding to the deficit.
I think this level of national debt is dangerous and unacceptable, McConnell said, adding he hopes Congress doesnt lose sight of that when it acts next year. My preference on tax reform is that it be revenue neutral, he said.

“Leave it to the leadership to announce their game plan ahead of their moves; it will make it easier for DJT to run roughshod over their stupid asses.”
Er, he was talking about DJT’s tax plan. Ryan is working with DJT.
so right
Worthless strategy in the short term. That ship has sailed. These good old boys are safe in their seats for at least a few more years. Meanwhile, Trump's budget needs to be approved NOW.
Pinky McConnell the UNI-PARTY STOOGE.
Apples and oranges. Pillow talk isn't worth a bucket of spit. Trump should go into Kentucky and make lots and lots of speeches lambasting McConnell. Let him stir up trouble for The Turtle until the citizens burn down his telephones and start riots in his local state offices.
Pillow talk? Do you have any idea how much Mr. and Mrs. Turtle stand to profit from her appointment? Yeah, I don't either. But I'd guess it's at least seven figures.
Where the hell was this ahole McConnell when Obummer increased the debt by $10 TRILLION?
What a loser for a Senate majority leader.
And tax cuts pay for themselves.
It’s obvious that establishment republicans are as much a part of the problem as Democrats.
Cut stuff in Kentucky. See how fast his tune changes.
Time to recall Ryan and McConnell.
Oh, I'm sorry, I thought we were discussing the thread topic, which was making policy in the Trump administration, not lining the pockets of the McConnells. Trump nominating Mitch's wife has absolutely NOTHING to do with this thread's topic. But carry on...
Well, I wouldn't hurt the people of KY. What I would do instead is have lots of rallys in the state, letting the citizens know what a lousy job their Senator is doing for them, and encouraging them to storm the local offices demanding change. Light a fire under Mitch's butt, make his life (and the life of his aides) miserable, and maybe he'll come around to the right way of thinking.
If he's a good boy and helps Trump, then help his re-election in 2020. Otherwise, campaign against him.
In short, give 'em hell.
I hear ya...

Since it has been proven over and over again that tax cuts generate more revenue by stimulating the economy, Republicans should be on board with this. The key is also making spending cuts to pay down the debt. McConnell needs to go.
Your self-esteem, coupled with your apparent ignorance, is truly laughable.
Trump needs to play along until 1/20 and then bring the message to the American people. Let the turtle and Ryan know they are setting the agenda too.
Fake news
It’s not exactly what they said
You run one time, you got yourself a set of chains. You run twice you got yourself two sets. You ain't gonna need no third set, 'cause you gonna get your mind right. And I mean RIGHT. Take a good look at Luke. Cool Hand Luke?
These guys are begging to be fired and it would be rude not to accept.
