The first time I lost 100 pounds was in 2003 and I combined the low carb with an exercise program. I figured the exercise did the trick so I gradually introduced foods like pizza, ice cream and baked goods back into my diet. The weight very quickly came back on.
I now realize that carbs (sugar) is the culprit. So for a second time I cut back the carbs and the weight slid off once again. Now I drink my coffee black and pass on dessert. However, the upside is that I get to eat all the meat, butter, eggs and cheese I want.
And BACON! Which probably has its own drawbacks, but it’s a great treat if you’re low-carbing, and we tell ourselves that everything evens out ;-)
Sure you can eat dessert. Just have it every other day and control the portion size.
People get heavy because they eat too much.
Fish, seafood, vegetables...all the good stuff yo-momma told you to eat.
You'll find you now like certain things. I recently discovered a new appreciation of Brussel Sprouts, turnips, cauliflower.
I’ve lost 30 lbs since 9/1/16. Simply cut out the cokes.
“Now I drink my coffee black”
Dude. Two words:
Bulletproof Coffee
Absolutely nothing worse for you than high fructose corn syrup.... unless it has been filtered through livestock. Fattens them up real quick.
