In a statement released Friday night, President-Elect Donald Trump blasted the CIA over a leaked report that claimed, without evidence of direct involvement, that Russia interfered in the recent presidential election to help elect Trump over rival Hillary Clinton.
The leaked CIA report was first reported by the Washington Post Friday evening. Earlier Friday it was reported President Obama had ordered a “full review” due by the end of his presidency on allegations of Russia’s hacking to influence the election.

On the surface, your analysis is correct. But, if the long view of history is considered, a weak and ineffective America is not good for the world. With a weak America all sorts of mischief can be contrived by various pipsqueak leaders.
If that is true, Trump is preferable to real world leaders.

The only explanation I can come up its for the overproduction of OPEC states is that the Saudis and UAE wanted to drop the price of oil to hurt the Russians in response to the Russians helping the Iranians.

Trump is something of a mystery in what he will do in the mideast. I don’t think he will punt like Obama did.
Ultimately, I think he will side with the GCC states and insist on a division in syria that includes an Ottoman like Sunni corridor along the Euphrates valley that allows a pipeline for gulf oil to the Mediterranean into Europe. There will be deals with the Turks to resolve their mortal disagreement with the new defacto Kurdistan.
The constant strife over who will rule, sunni or shia will be determined by letting them have their own spaces.

A pipeline is exactly why the Russians will continue to stir up trouble. They will not want competition from the south for their European market.
True comment. Russian hackers or not the email revelations were not denied and Americans did not like what the rats and Hillary were revealed to be.
Russians did not get tens of thousands to Trump rallies to support him and make it true that Hillary could barely muster a couple of hundred to rallies.
This CIA vomit is to embolden more weak-kneed electors. Drain the swamp!
