Does leftist activist and filmmaker Michael Moore know something the rest of us don’t?
Moore predicted President-elect Donald Trump may not become America’s next president, saying anything can happen between now and Jan. 20, 2017.
“Nothing anyone has predicted has happened,” Moore said of the 2016 election when he was a guest Wednesday evening on the “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” “The opposite has happened.”
Moore continued with what he called his “prediction”: “[Trump] is not president of the United States yet. He’s not president, right? He’s not president ’til noon on Jan. 20 of 2017. That is – what are we, Wednesday the 9th? – so that’s more than six weeks away. … So is it possible, that within the next six weeks, something else might happen? Something crazy. Something that we’re not expecting.”
Moore did not elaborate on what that “something crazy” might be.
However, he did say the Electoral College was a “stopgap” measure to keep a “madman who wants to be king” out of the White House. He vowed to “lead the charge” in abolishing the Electoral College.
“Here’s the Democrats’ biggest problem, and this includes people who voted for Hillary: they don’t act like they won. They won. She’s 2.7 million votes ahead of Trump tonight – almost 3 million, almost as many votes as Obama got in 2012. This is the second time this has happened in 16 years. It happened with [Al] Gore where they win the popular vote but lose the White House. We have to get rid of this Electoral College. Yes, it’s going to happen. I will lead the charge. … The majority of my fellow Americans do not want [Trump] in the White House.”

I do not know why I think of something like this when it comes to Moore and his remarks, but I can not help doing so.
Back a little over twenty five years ago, I knew someone at work who in turn had a friend who apprenticed to be a plumber. As part of getting work experience, this fellow apprenticing to become a plumber one day had to go to a local hospital and clean out the drainage pipes in the operating rooms. I wonder if Moore has ever had to do something like that in his life, for all of the lecturing and posturing he engages in?

Also, Federalist #39 emphasizes, “In requiring more than a majority, and particularly in computing the proportion by states, not by citizens, it departs from the national and advances towards the federal character; in rendering the concurrence of less than the whole number of States sufficient, it loses again the federal and partakes of the national character.”

And not only that. No one has yet calculated the source of what Hillary calls winnng the popular vote.Who are those 2.7 million people? 63 million people voted for Trump, and about 100 million voted.
In fact Hillary was highly unpopular, that’s why she lost. Hillary also lost because she did not hoodwink enough people in the right locations proportionately to the electoral college vote. Hillary won only in the urban America while Trump won both urban and rural voters.

Now the left is attacking electors to get them to abstain or vote for others rather than Donald Trump, so that he will total less than 270 electoral votes. That’s not going to happen either, as America watches these closet radicals become publicly manifest by trying to destroy America, by using the electoral system to destroy itself through disenfranchising voters.
