As for the ban on cops and reporters at meetings, MacAuley explained: “Our meetings are safe zones in which people want to speak freely without knowing that a police officer is listening, or thinking that they could be quoted in the press.

If the Alt-right the made the same comment about 'cops and reporters' being banned - the Washington Post and New York Times would NOT stay silent... AND the FBI would NOT be sitting on their hands.

_____________

Hey Bob Woodward - giving a pass to one side is a form of FAKE NEWS. It's why the press isn't trusted.

If Hillary had won and the alt-right was threatening "surprises" and threatening to "shut down" the inauguration, the MSM would - with wailing and gnashing of teeth - elevate it to the lead story of the week. But, since the threats are coming from the left, this story has barely crept into the MSM at all.

Right now, the white-supremacist alt-right's biggest supporters are the MSM, who are giving them a platform they never had before. Almost half the audience at last week's alt-right "summit" were reporters.
