I hear ya there! I like cool weather...about 65-70...but anything COLD is just an invite for me to stay in where it’s heated! LOL! Texas is the best place for both of us!

Mine consisted of going by the nursing home to see if they’d fixed Aunt Clara’s thermostat yesterday. Nope. Still wasn’t working and they said the handyman had already left for the day. When the Dragon Lady got through belching smoke, breathing flames, and bellowing, they’d called him back in to fix it NOW.

Not good to hack me off.

I went to a few of the St. Louis Blues games, back in the old Checker Dome & before they tamed the game down. [I went to a bunch of fights & a game of Hockey broke out, where both teeth & blood were always flying]

Luv, you don’t know what you’re missing if you haven’t been to an NHL game. Non-stop hard physical action bordering on brutality. But there is a beauty and grace in the game, especially the Russian players.

Funny thing about ice skating....I always sucked at it but I loved and was decent at roller-skating which I did a lot of as a teen. We had a roller rink in town and all the kids hung out there.

Looks like we have a lot of “non-athletes” in the crowd here. That would include me! LOL!

They said he had to order a new one yesterday and that it was there today. My response was, “So WHY didn’t he REPLACE it today?!! It’s going to get cold tonight.” That’s when they got on the phone.

I never tried ice skating but like you, I roller skated a lot when a teen. Every weekend pretty much. Didn’t get fancy with it but could at least stay on my feet. LOL
