Donald Trump and his backers have launched formal legal bids to stop recounts in, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan that are being pushed for by failed Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
Lawyers for Trumps campaign have entered arguments in Pennsylvania and Michigan calling Steins quest a farce and in the latter, the state attorney general has filed to stop the recount effort he says abuses the intent of Michigan law.
Trumps supporters are taking legal action in Wisconsin where a third recount effort is underway.

Call it what it is.
I believe they will all be stopped...and that the media will have plenty of fodder until the 19th when the electors cast their votes.
Wisconsin does not require evidence of fraud or mistakes to call for a recount, MI and PA do. I see PA as definitely not allowing a recount, as it has a higher standard of evidence than Michigan.
just stop one and let the rest go fish
Let 'em holler. All it will do is turn more of the country against the leftist kooks (including their politicians and their MSM shills).
Let them decry all they want. Nobody is buying their garbage going forward. Trump will be president.
The suit filed in Wisconsin today is based on equal protection. 14th amendment. Some counties doing machine count, some hand counts... Bush v Gore.
I think the federal judge tells Wisconsin to have equal standards or they must stop. Wisconsin then either quits or tells all counties to do machine count only because of time restraints.
The recount deadline in PA passed on November 21. Stein is seeking a contested election, which requires prima facie evidence that fraud was committed.
Who cares? Either way they will say he is illegitimate.
Monday this will all be over. No way a recount happens in PA. There is no evidence of fraud, he’s up by 46,000 votes so it’s not within recount margins.
Court will deny Stein and we won’t have to hear about recounts anymore.
In analyzing Trump's victory, one need only watch the left's egregious behavior to figure out WHY he won.
Yep. You can never placate a leftist.
They’ll appeal to a federal court which will unconstitutionally insert itself. Watch and see.
“This is what the left wants. Now they can decry Trump’s victory as illegitimate.”
Those that would believe it would have believed it anyway. Too much is at stake to not confront this aggressively because they do have a plan and are executing it.
If they want a constitutional crisis between a sore loser using a 3rd party proxy to subvert the election and another person who is (publicly) getting companies keep jobs in the US before he even assumes office, I do believe Trump would prevail in that scenario 90% chance but the damage to the democrats would be significant. I don’t think others in the democrat party would allow it, others as in those who still plan to run for office, especially in the mid west.
Because the 1% vote and the 48% vote are so close... just a couple of ballots different.
I don’t know if that approach will succeed. WI law allows counties to choose their method for recounting. I actually think the WI recount should happen, to put to rest the spurious claims of anomalies.
When I heard that counties were being allowed to decide how to conduct recounts, I wondered about this.
This has to stop, because you can't change the counting or recounting rules for only selected precincts or counties.
Trump supporters have already filed a federal suit with court in Madison.
They’re not contesting the right of the state to mandate a recount, just the manner in which it is being done.
This is what Jack Porosbiec (Citizens4Trump) and John Wick (FL2000 recount specialist) were saying on twitter days ago. They said Republican Party lawyers and recount specialists would descend like hordes in those states and lawsuits would fly if this got serious.
They said or I read somewhere that all 3 state assemblies (WI, MI, PA) were ruled by the GOP and that there was no way that the state assemblies would allow the recounts to prevent their electoral votes from being certified by the deadlines.
