***I AM NOT VOUCHING 100% FOR THIS - BUT SAW THIS ON TWITTER AND REPEATING HERE***
In PA per 11/9 AM count, Trump 2,912,941, Clinton 2,844,705.
After nearly every county has updated: Trump 2,961,875, Clinton 2,915,440. Lead is now 46k according to these guys.
They are saying the change was driven by updated counts out of Philadelphia:
Clinton 584,020 (from 560,542) Trump 108,748 (from 105,418)
This is not as part of a recount, but from final official releases by county in PA.
how about somebody just telling us
what the effin deal is?
these are provisional ballots being added to the tally?
the numbers appear different now...
LINTON, HILLARY DEMOCRATIC 563275 82.19 %
TRUMP, DONALD J REPUBLICAN 105876 15.45 %
Did I click on the wrong item? Says for Philly and 100% reporting????
Trump 2,961,875-2,912,941 = gain of 48,936 =3630 in philly, 45,300 outside
Clinton 2,915,440 - 2,844,705 = gain of 70,735 = 23,478 in philly, 47,257 outside.
The "gain" in philly is about 6-1 for Clinton, which is about what the original count was. Gain in all areas is probably provisionals, late absentees, etc.
Of course Philly manufactured more Clinton votes.
Not WAY outside. half a percent win or less can trigger one.
This still leaves them about 17000 votes short.
Don’t know if this Decision Desk is legitimate. I don’t see the change in the Penn State website yet. Also, apparently the only counties yet to certify are heavy Trump.
Seeing the panic trolls and their behaviour here makes me think of a Philadelphia election lawyer’s comments (he was a Democrat) and that he basically said that if anything improper took place, it would have been known very early on and would have been challenged right then and there. I get the feeling that if anything were to have fallen into auto recount territory, it would have taken place within that very short space of time following the vote.
Good. Plus a newer article on FR says a judge denied the request for a recount. hmm.
Clearly the rats are attempting to steal Pennsylvania.
Someone needs to alert the Trump campaign immediately.
Not sure this helps, but qualifying recount requests in PA apparently have to be done precinct by precinct. It’s not clear that the proper paperwork could be verified so quickly, so local results may not be acknowledged quickly by state election officials.
Meanwhile, precincts that had a qualifying request have or are recounting. It’s not unusual to find a very small number of absentee or provisional, etc, ballots. Anything more than a minuscule number better have a very good explanation.
“Hillary will win PA, MI and WI... and the WH.”
Wow, do you want Trump to not be President? Or are you suffering from depression (it sucks, I know too well) to the point you can’t accept the fact Trump won by an amount no amount of cheating can overcome? Do you see an empty glass of milk when in fact it’s full?
Trump has won all 3 of these states & his victory will be confirmed by this ridiculous recount. Take your FUD and enjoy it with a nice beverage.
Agreed. And to go and make comparisons with Franken 2008 or Gregoire 2004 is really ridiculous. Both of those instances took place with very close results and miniscule differences that triggered the automatic legal recount.
Right, was going to post something similar. The numbers seem a bit shocking, initially, by having a 22K gain for Clinton. However, I take it as good news. These were not “found” ballots. They were provisional ballots, absentee, etc. There were 5-6 late reporting counties/cities in high Democrat areas in PA. That is probably not a conspiracy but simply a matter of high population areas taking longer to count votes. And, my understanding is that this is why Jill Stein could petition these 5-6 counties separately—because they did report later. And as we saw yesterday, one of the counties (Montgomery) had a judge dismiss her recount request.
Also shows they have carefully considered all the ballots submitted on election night and there are fewer now to consider if PA does go to recount.
PA would not have been called on election night had there been enough outstanding ballots to change the outcome. But, that is probably why they did take so long to call it on election night/early the next morning. They wanted to make sure the margin was great enough to overcome the outstanding provisionals and absentees.
Have no idea about the legitimacy of this article, but I am pretty sure there is no PA recount going to happen. The deadline for requesting one passed back on Aug 13th before Jill Stein started her effort. The Aug 28th deadline which I think she also missed was for contesting the results, not for requesting a recount, and has a requirement of sworn affadavits for people that have good evidence that the election result was fraudulent, under penalty of perjury....which was never going to happen. Trump won PA, case closed.
August?
Forget it, he's rolling.
I don’t know all of the details of PA provisional ballots but I think your post makes a lot of sense. We’ve had the unofficial results, now these results (and again, even if you think Decision Desk HQ is crap - see the Philadelphia County Commissioners website, the numbers are there) which surely include all provisional and absentee ballots.
It’s over. It’s over +46k instead of +70k but who cares.
Here’s a local PA story from the last few hours:
...Lehigh County elections officials found a couple uncounted ballots in a recount of the Nov. 8 presidential election result in six precincts...
...election officials found three absentee ballots and a military ballot that weren’t previously counted...
(is this new stuff, just the final cleanup
of ‘normal’ activity)
my understanding is that there are NO RECOUNTS
because the deadline had passed.
or not,
please enlighten me
