Then there were a couple articles of some of the appointees circumvented the normal process and switched to civil service status (wouldn’t be automatically fired and as a CS, would be very hard to fire).
From what I’ve read it is true as IIRC EVs are based on the number of reps and senators from each state. If the illegals are counted in the census, then potentially the number of reps for a state increases. I’m not sure, but I *think* the population of a state also may dictate how many Fed dollars go to that state (not counting earmarks and boondoggle dollars).

I truly believe that whatever Obummer has done to enhance his friends and cronies in our gov. including these CS jobs, Trump will have the know how and the BALLS to undo.
I’m going to have to learn patience, somethings will take time, but I have faith that if it’s good for America and US it will get done.

The census, taken every 10 years, determines the number of congress critters each state gets but since it is capped at 435, so many people=1 rep.
You bet they are counted and helps with more fed. funds too.
So having all these illegals gives them more clout in DC.
Let’s hope so. Obama switched the census responsibilities to another department (I think it was Treasury, but could be wrong on that). And, IIRC Rahm was in charge of it - no hanky panky there, of course :-p

That really needs to be changed. Only US citizens should be counted (I’m up in the air about those that are here legally for an extended period of time) - after all it is the US CENSUS.
OT - remember I posted on the TF Transition thread a week or 2 ago about the one idiot fashion designer that provided so-called “fashions” for Moochelle that said she would not provide designs for Melania (like Melania would wear her garbage designs). Well, Time felt it important to interview various designers and some others don’t want to design clothes for Melania (they’re claiming b/c of difference of views with Trump, but I suspect they’re trying to save face in advance as she wouldn’t want to work with any of them).
