Why did Hillary Clinton join Jill Stein, the Green Party's oddball presidential nominee, in asking for a recount of the votes in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, when everyone knows that such a recount won't change the outcome of the 2016 election?
Part of the answer is that people close to Hillary — Huma Abedin, Chelsea Clinton, and Sidney Blumenthal — encouraged her to ask for a recount as a way of lifting her spirits.
"She is weepy, looks 10 years older and is very whiny," said one of Hillary's closest friends. "She has been drinking wine pretty heavily, much more than usual.
"She mopes around all day, swimming in a sea of recriminations and complaining that her campaign managers were 'incompetent,' Bill and Chelsea 'didn't work hard enough,' FBI Director Comey was 'in league with Trump.'"
In addition, President Barack Obama convinced Hillary that it was in the best interest of the Democratic Party if the Clinton legal team got involved with the recount and didn't leave it to Jill Stein.
"The president felt that the progressives were acting stunned and helpless and had to rise out of their stupor and show that they weren't going to take their defeat lying down," said the source

Unlike President Trump who surrounds himself the best-of-the-best, Hillary and Obama can’t stomach having other around who are smarter or more knowledgeable than themselves. That’s the difference between a strong, self-confidant man and weaklings like obama and hillary.
A good idea will be for Keith Ellison, new DNC chairperson to rally to Hillary’s support by reminding the public just how completely committed she was to upping the incoming refugees, in particular from Somalia.
With more new friends to socialize with, they won’t get bored and run people down, then slash them with machetes.
I hear that if they can hold up the count with court, etc. by the end date that the electors for those states will not be able to vote for Trump. That Hillary could steal the election. Everyone is saying. ‘nothing to see here.’

I hope the evil bitch is absolutely gutwrenching miserable every single nanosecond of its miserable existence.
There's not enough bad karma on earth to repay that execrable 'family' for the misery they've inflicted on this nation.
It will backfire because Trump will just say something like this, “I am the first person to ever win the election twice, three times, four times. Believe me, this is just the start of winning, winning so much that you will get tired of winning.”
Every time they attack and he survives, it makes him stronger. I am surprised they don’t realize this yet. He isn’t going to react in the expected or usual way - not ever.

I’d love to see an election that doesn’t have a Bush or a Clinton on it at all. Not in the primaries and definitely not in the general.
Young Bushes are popping up and there’s always Chelsea Hubbell. I think Trump’s kids will stay in private sector.
