Since Election Day, President-elect Donald J. Trump has proposed a U-turn in American diplomatic relations with Cuba, boasted about negotiations with a major manufacturer, trumpeted false claims about millions of illegal votes and hinted that he might upend current free speech laws by banning flag burning.
All in 140 characters or less.
As news organizations grapple with covering a commander in chief unlike any other, Mr. Trumps Twitter account a bully pulpit, propaganda weapon and attention magnet all rolled into one has quickly emerged as a fresh journalistic challenge and a source of lively debate.
How to cover a presidents pronouncements when they are both provocative and maddeningly vague? Does an early-morning tweet amount to a planned shift in American policy? Should news outlets, as some readers argue, ignore clearly untrue tweets, rather than amplify falsehoods further?

and 5 million cancels their account??
I can only click into 10 NYT articles a month. Can’t read this one....but I check Donald’s tweets several times a day. Free. Well, I do pay taxes LOL.
Why would I read the NYT or Wapo? Listen to ABC News? They had Hillary up 12%. Talk about fake news! All I do when talking to libs, its part of my penance every week, it start by referring to 12% rule. I go to Trump’s tweets to get the real news. It is unfiltered and fun.
The old dying MSM is clutching their beads and Martha Raddatzing in public and behind closed doors. Not a pretty sight.
They have cancelled other conservatives accounts because.....well......just because..............
And Republicans aren’t taking the bait when the reporter sticks the microphone in their faces and demands they “comment” on Trump’s latest tweet.
Why does it always take 2 or more knuckleheads to write tripe like this?
because they both can not use the same phone at the same time to call their mommies for advice.
This is going to be a great 4 years or more!.
The MSM has no idea how to deal with Trump and everything that they try, gets them hammered by the people!
Twitter won’t dare do that even though Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed owns more twitter stock than Jack does.

I am certain that The Donald has Plan B no matter who challenges his Twitter. I’ve heard he wants to have his own tv network.
“Why does it always take 2 or more knuckleheads to write tripe like this?”
... and one of them is probably a Russian spy.
News is an archaic term used to describe that which is presented by the media.
If the message or event is presented by twitter, reporting is denigrated to response or old news
Here’s where I go first now for my “news”

I don’t know about that. I read most of my news on my iPad. Whenever there is a link mentioned on Twitter I have difficulty accessing it. On my pc I think it is different.
These days, about 90% of “news” is transcribing Tweets, Facebook posts and YouTube videos.
Sounds like they are attempting to define what is news worthy when it comes to our President elect. And I’m sure they’re final decision will be almost nothing will be..........well, unless it is damaging to him then it will be coverage 24/7/365.
How can we SPIN his tweets, or get the American People to doubt them?? Surely there will be a way.
The MSM is only interested in Trump if they get to fly on his airplanes and stay in his hotels with him.
