The Bank of England admitted Monday that traces of tallow, derived from animal fat, can be found in the new British £5 notes that went into circulation in September.
The news prompted an immediate outcry from vegetarians and vegans, some of whom called on the central bank to stop using animal products in its currency.

BUMP!
Oh, yeah!
They would never use pork fat! Heads would roll! Literally!
Of course, the Hindus might be pleased with the beef fat (tallow) but they are less likely to massacre anyone.
might = might not
Jeez, you'd think that the Brits would have learned from the first go-round ...
Put some pork fat in there, widely advertise it in Londonistan, and puff, all the radical Muslims will self deport.
Yep, I read somewhere the surprise ingredient is Pork fat.
It is possible to have “pork tallow”...but beef and mutton are most used/popular. It is also possible to have vegetarian tallow i.e “Tallow Tree”.

Clearly, to please everyone, both beef and pork must be avoided. The answer is... schmaltz (chicken fat) !
Or . . . "What is Soylent Green?" Liberals would be okay with that ingredient, if the money were printed to fund parasitic social programs.
BACON...Bacon and more bacon......islamics flee UK in droves.
So don’t eat it then :P
They would either self deport or torch every building in town.
Nope!...But it's still “fiat money”....It could be worth alot if the plastic is valuable....Kinda a Greshams Law thing....Do your own DD....

People are so freaking stupid.
When animals are killed for consumption, there are many bi-products. By saying they don’t want those bi-products used, people are saying they would prefer to have as much of the animal wasted as can be accomplished.
IMO < it’s far better to use every last it of the animal. The less that is wasted the better.
Using every possible bit of the animal, is more respectful of the animal. It means it died for as full a purpose as could be accomplished.
True.
The Sepoys are coming and boy are they mad!
