If the count is going to done by volunteers, what’s the millions for?

They would have to get so many states not to cast their EVs that it would put Trump at less than Hillary. Just putting him below 270 won’t stop him, since the number required also goes down due to the smaller total of EVs cast. Simple majority of EVs cast is all the Constitution requires.

We know how it will turn out.
Liberals love to waste money on nothing of consequence.
Then again, it isn’t her money.

http://www.weau.com/content/news/Stein-calls-Wisconsin-recount-cost-exorbitant-403568906.html
'Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein has requested the recount. Under state law she's responsible for covering the cost. The state Elections Commission initially told her campaign that the process could cost about $3.5 million. She must pay the state that amount by 4:30 p.m. to trigger the recount.
But Commission officials now say they made a computation error when they compiled county clerks' individual cost estimates. They now believe the recount will cost $3.9 million.
Course, now should we even trust the count, much less the recount ?

If a recount turned up a different result, shouldn’t
that require a third recount? Just to be fair?
You would have two opposed results which could not
in themselves define a winner...

Curious are the FEC requirements like a political campaign to disclose donors and keep records of donations for a recount?
Cause there is a lot of opacity from the Steinites about where they are getting the money. Wonder if that is legal.

Yea. The Board needs to request a full account of the donations before proceeding.
To: Sopater
Yeah, she couldnt raise that kind of money during the campaign, so it certain that its being given to her by someone like Soros. The Clinton Foundation I would bet. There's plenty more to pay to judges and county and state election officials in various states as well. Jill might just get her cabinet position in Hillary's administration after all.
I sure hope Trump's taking this seriously or she'll walk away with the presidency.
To: stylin19a
Oops!
So she has to fork up extra? Does the recount move forward or is it on hold pending payment of the difference?
$4 million dollars. Wow, talk about being caught flat-footed.

He’s saying paper money is just an I.O.U. I think he thinks we’re still on the gold standard, and gold is “backing” our money.
