Initial report - later changed [Breaking, 3:20 p.m.: Lawrence Otter, a lawyer for Green Party candidate Jill Stein, said the campaign was dropping its Pennsylvania recount lawsuit Monday afternoon. Check back for updates.]
Revised:
HARRISBURG Former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein on Monday continued her campaign to contest the election results in three battleground states, filing suit in Pennsylvania seeking a statewide recount.
Legal papers filed in Commonwealth Court by a lawyer for Steins campaign conten the Nov. 8 election was illegal and the results inaccurate based on research suggesting there might have been irregularities with electronic voting machines, among other evidence.
Petitioners have grave concerns about the integrity of electronic voting machines used in their districts, the suit stated.
Though Mondays petition was filed by 100 Pennsylvania voters, as required by the states election law, it is part of Steins effort to challenge results in three states that were critical to deciding the presidential election.
annnnddd I swear I heard fox just report a moment ago that her attorney petitioned the court for more time to meet the requirements needed ......

You got a link? That’s not what the story says.
Was it getting so expensive that it was jeopardizing full employment for her and her staff for the next 4 years on the donors’ dime?
Be kind of funny if a certain President-elect offered financial help for the first two or three hundred lawsuits against her, wouldn't it.
He could do it on the QT too, by any of a number of methods.
‘Cuz if she tried to force a recount PA, then the ‘Pubbies would have a chance to take a look at certain districts in Phillie?
I am missing something. The linked article does not say this.
Wow, if their evidence is so weak that they can’t even judge-shop for a Democrat partisan hack in THIS state...
She's raised over $6 million and her site is still accepting donations.
Funny thing is she barely raised $3 million for her campaign.
The link no longer shows the bracketed update text.
Maybe 6.9 million of it pays off Roque De La Fuente’s campaign’s loans.
Wait a second, I went to the link on Philly.com, and it didn’t say anything about Stein dropping her suit. What is the correct link? Thanks.
Very stupid
Now trump and conservatives are spitting mad.
Payback time.
In a conflict, I’m thinking I’m going with the Philly source this time.
That link is being altered and the headline changed at this very moment.
I don’t think so...I went to the site, clicked on the ‘Drops Lawsuit’ link and it references filing a recount suit...
I believe the ‘Drops’ here is a verb that means ‘files’ - show me where I am incorrect, please.
You’ got a point there. The hildabeast will never go away.
This is great news!
It should cause the collapse of the other recounts because without PA, it is impossible for the election to be thrown.
Unless Stein/Clinton/Soros seek to recount a slew of other states, this should be the final nail in the Clinton coffin.
I believe she dislikes Hillary more than Trump. What if she takes this money and starts looking at states Hillary won! :)
Couldn’t find enough Pennsylvania electors who want to risk a perjury charge?
