You know, I hate to black pill this stuff, but Hillary doesn't need to get over 270 - she just needs to get Trump under 270.

If Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania can't certify because they can't finish counting, the Congress will wind up counting 260-232, and if ONE elector votes for Ryan or Romney or Bush, you will have a very volatile situation as the election moves to the House.

Wisconsin says they will certify before the electoral college meets.

The Demonrats are going to be in four corners staul mode like the old North Carolina /Dean Smith basketball teams...

I believe your read of the situation is incorrect. The Constitution states that the winner of the EC is whoever has a majority of EC votes from the pool of appointed electors.

If WI, PA, and MI can’t appoint electors then the total number of electors is no longer 538. Total electors would be 492, meaning the winner would need 247 or more to win. If these three states don’t send electors, Trump still has 260 which is more than the 247 required in this scenario.

HRC cannot win by knocking these states out of the EC. She has to flip them blue.

I would also note that if the dems were to knock these states from the EC then campaigning against dems in those states for 2018 will be easy. Don’t vote D, they will disenfranchise you.

They should just do it like here in Oregon, no need to even count votes, they are all mail in, no polls. The oligarchy decides. They called it for Hillary with only 11% of the precincts in

might as well just drive by the county recorders office and drop your ballot in the dumpster out back and save them a step

The majority is "of electors appointed." Hillary cannot win simply by disqualifying states; she must flip them. If PA, MI and WI don't appoint electors, Trump will still have a majority of the electors appointed: 260-232.

Amendment XII

...

The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted.

The person having the greatest Number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed;

All Trump needs is to keep one of those three states and it doesn’t matter which one. Then he wins in the electoral college.

If it goes to the House, Trump wins. Hillary needs all three states to reverse before the safe harbor date. If any one state, doesn’t matter which one, cant meet the deadline and forfeits its electoral votes, then Trump is guaranteed the Presidency one way or the other.

Not true. The 12A says nothing about the number of electors needed, it just says "majority".

To win by subtraction, she needs to get Trump under her total. What she really needs to do is to flip the three states. Very hard to do, but no amount of cheating is beyond her.

No. Wrong. The constitution says a majority of the electors. Not a majority of 538
