All Trump needs is to keep one of those three states and it doesn’t matter which one. Then he wins in the electoral college.
If it goes to the House, Trump wins. Hillary needs all three states to reverse before the safe harbor date. If any one state, doesn’t matter which one, cant meet the deadline and forfeits its electoral votes, then Trump is guaranteed the Presidency one way or the other.
The Clintons have been scheming on this since election night. Remember Bill a few years ago acknowledging that Nixon had actually won the 1960 election but saying that it was so much better that JFK took office? That is how these people (and many of their lawyers and consultants) think. They will do what it takes to win. Remember the Iowa Caucuses? Bernie Sanders was slightly ahead; there were six precincts that were tied and decided by a coin flip, and with a normal coin toss, he would have gotten three and she would have gotten three, preserving his tiny lead, but the headlines would have been “Sanders Wins Iowa Caucuses”. Remember, she won ALL SIX coin flips, which is something like a 62-1 probability. Remember her winning bet on cattle futures, enormous funds with something like a 999-1 probability? Remember LBJ, whose political career started in the Texas Senate race; he was behind Coke Stephenson by 1000 votes; they “found” a bag with 1100 votes in it all of which voted for LBJ! I can imagine that they will contest Wisconsin, alleging that the pre-election polls put her ahead in the state by six and the exit polls showed her up by four, only to lose by one. They will allege hacking or some similar interference, and get some fool in a polling position to back up their claims. In Michigan, I am betting that Wayne County (Detroit) will find some 10,000 ballots, all for Hillary, that just must be counted (True the Vote) so that minority voters are not “disenfranchised”. The question mark is Pennsylvania - how do they steal 70,528 votes that they need to overtake Trump? The votes in PA are either paper ballots or old election machines, neither of which can be hacked. Virtually everyone of adult age in Philadelphia already voted (81 percent Hillary), so they would be hard pressed to scrape up the needed 70,000 there. I think Pennsylvania is the bulwark that they cannot get past and without it Trump still stands at 280 electoral votes, unless they can convince or intimidate 11 electors into not voting for him.
