Aint you?
Ok...half way through the first episode...the pilot...and I’m hooked! LOL!
And that’s where I’ve been! Watching it. Now I’m taking a breather...after the c-section in the ambulance. Whew!
Nite, MY! :)
Happy Thanksgiving! (((hugs)))
Happy Thanksgiving, Kathy!
Unless I start feeling guilty for reneging on my 1 of 2 days to cook something. LOL!
🦃 Happy 🦃 Thanksgiving! 🦃
It's 13 right now, but they say it will warm up
to the mid 20s and snow this weekend. I'm ready.
I’m still Msbehavin!
*evil grin*
*HUG*
G’night Sweetie!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm ready to cook my little 3# turkey and some sweet potatoes, mashed, with marshmallows on top.
Monday and Tuesday were brutal. Because Thursday is a bank holiday, we had to send the Direct Deposit file to the bank first thing this morning. The usual is Wednesday afternoon to give them 2 days.
Then I work Friday, but I’m hoping it is so quiet (it IS Black Friday, and I work “in” the mall) that I can concentrate on a single issue that needs my attention and some peace and quiet.
My Mom wants her sweet potato done in the microwave. I want mashed and marshmallows. I told her I would do hers however she wanted. I heard her tell my sister she didn’t know what she was getting because I “was afraid of the microwave”. *sigh*
Ugh! Cooking all day. Hubby isn’t all that crazy about leftovers so I get a break. A nice meal that’s tasty is all either of us wants so Thanksgiving isn’t all that much work.
But I do miss the days of larger gatherings with all the usual Thanksgiving fixin’s. Mmm, mmm, good stuff!
LOL! Another fan. Hope you enjoy the other episodes as you watch them. It can be pretty rough but then, that’s how it gets in ERs - especially that one.
It is Officially Tamale Time in Texas ;o)
Hey there, Kathy!
Yum, sounds deeeelicious, especially the sweet taters.
We’re having cola roast (Hubby won’t eat poultry), broccoli casserole (made that today), and regular potatoes (Hubby doesn’t care for sweet, durn it). Not traditional Thanksgiving fare but it’s easy and it’s tasty and will make our tummies happy. :-)
When this week falls on a holiday week, it kills you gals. It’s bad enough on regular schedule the way they’ve set things up. At least you got through it and I hope it’s quiet at the office Friday. And that you don’t end up having to park a mile away from the door!
You sure do have your hands full with your mom.
At least she knows who you are. Clara doesn’t know us any more. We’re just nice people who visit her. But at a month shy of 100 years old, it isn’t a surprise.
