Washington Pizza Place Flooded With Threats Over False Hillary Clinton Conspiracy

Since being featured in a viral fake news story about Hillary Clinton, the owner of a Washington, D.C. pizza restaurant said the threats he and his business have received are “endless.”
A fake story published before the presidential election accused the restaurant, Comet Ping Pong, of being part of a child abuse ring led by Clinton and her campaign chairman, John Podesta, the New York Times reported. The entire story was false.
But in the weeks since the story appeared, restaurant owner James Alefantis has received hundreds of threatening messages and phone calls from people who believed the story to be true.
“From this insane, fabricated conspiracy theory, we’ve come under constant assault,” Alefantis told the Times. “I’ve done nothing for days but try to clean this up and protect my staff and friends from being terrorized.”
The prevalence of fake news on the internet has recently been hotly debated, amid questions about whether the spread of fake news stories might have helped Donald Trump win the presidential election.
Alefantis was a Clinton supporter, but he said he has never met her. The speculation about Comet Ping Pong began when Alefantis appeared in an email to Podesta, discussing a fundraiser for Clinton, the Times reported. Podesta’s email account was hacked and published by WikiLeaks in the months leading up to the election.
The conspiracy theory, dubbed “Pizzagate,” has continued to spread among adamant believers online.
“It’s endless,” Alefantis said.

I read the story you likely got the idea from.
The author claims his name, James Alefantis, is an Anglicization of "J'aime les enfants" meaning "I love the children."
I think this is more than a stretch when you consider the way the French and the English names are pronounced. "J'aime les enfants" sounds like "Jay*mee laze*awn*fawnt". His name in English is pronounced "James Ah*le*FAHN*tis".
I think the similarity is likely coincidental. I also didn't find any evidence that this was the result of a name change. If it was it was a VERY stupid move.

We could speculate that it could be a "stage name" or just a slight play on words. Since he is in the US, the spelling would be more striking than the pronunciation.
Considering the several disturbing coincidences, strange Instagrams, odd symbolism of the nearby stores and shops, the Podesta email tie-ins, related cast of evil characters, AND usual arrogance and hubris of these types of people, I'd NOT give the benefit of doubt. The name at minimum is purposely suggestive, if not oddly coincidental.
It's these types of peoples' way of tweaking society as a pervy "inside joke" for similar sick ilk.

I’m not getting the relevance of you not finding find the graphic, t-shirt or design on facebook.
Let’s use some logic: These guys are standing outside L’enfant Cafe & Bar. The guys without shirts are wearing grimy rugby shorts. It’s highly likely that this was taken at a rugby after-party, and, the t-shirt was specially made.

Years ago, Sen. Eugene McCarthy (D) said something along these lines: "The press is like a row of birds sitting on a wire. They sit and sit and sit, but when one of them flies off, all the others follow."
Another image would be a group of birds pecking for food in a lawn; if there is a sudden movement by someone, the birds all fly off, instantly, without apparently communicating.
The press seems to be like that; it is a collective mind, and once someone in that collective mind begins a theme ("fake news" in this case) all of the other individuals in that collective mind instantly and instinctively follow, repeating exactly the same things.
Here's another example: during the campaign, the press almost universally referred to Donald Trump's sexual peccadillos as "sexual assault," even though virtually all of Trump's behavior was in the category of "being fresh." But they put the worst possible spin on it, in a way they NEVER (except NBC's Broaddrick interview) did with Bill Clinton.

Any chance the shirt was photo shopped, or that the shirt has an innocent meaning? Lot's of normal people say that they love children. I'm just playing the Devil's Advocate, anticipating how the press would dismiss it, if they even had the nerve to show that photo.
