MSNBC's Katy Tur complains that Donald Trump may avoid the media to "spin the truth in his favor" "without the filter of the press." From a roundtable with MSNBC reporters Tamron Hall, Katy Tur and Kristen Welker Monday morning:
KATY TUR, MSNBC: Donald Trump is going to try to do things his own way. We know he has already used Twitter to his advantage in that sense and try to get out his message without the filter of the press. That way Donald Twitter can say what he wants to say. Sometimes, spin the truth in his favor.
TAMRON HALL, MSNBC: It's like we're getting a little bit of Trump TV. The prediction if he lost was to start his own network. He is in a sense starting his own line of communication avoiding the media.

American press calls person speaking for themselves, “saying what he wants to say, without the filter of the press”.
So if the press doesnt get to put its positive or negative spin on things, wow, someone might actually get an undiluted, unfiltered actual message out to people to evaluate on their own.
News is news, they want to editorialize everything. News reporting doesnt need spin added to it. News is covered, not spun.
Well I guess everyone on facebook and twitter and their own personal websites are enemies of the press as well.

We are perfectly capable of listening to Trump’s message without the MSM & the the pundits telling us what we just heard & how we should feel about it.

Imagine this scene where something big has happened and Trump makes the announcement via Trump-TV. So the news dimwits want to use this feed or video from the moment. Then imagine copyright agreements in place, and they have to allow the Trump-TV emblem to be seen, and Trump inserts graphics to the bottom of the screen (like O’Reilly does) emphasize his points. The networks won’t dare touch the video, and lose impact with live scenes.
They are finished...no way to recover. If he goes for eight years....they will be forcing a large number of journalists to retire or seek other jobs in life.
