We all make choices in life, some of them are dumber than others. This former CEO however, takes the cake. He is likely not going to get too much sympathy from anyone other than George Soros or the underbelly of the Democrat Party…
The former CEO of a local cybersecurity firm is talking first to 10News – about his threat to shoot President-elect Donald Trump.
Team 10 Investigator Allison Ash sat down with Matt Harrigan Tuesday afternoon. He tells Allison he’s been getting death threats since the posts went viral and he and his family have relocated until the storm settles.
Harrigan was the CEO of PacketSled until he resigned his position Tuesday morning. He said he’s sorry for his words, and he wants his side of the story told.
Harrigan wrote the series of Facebook posts on election night. They were words that he thought only his friends would see. He wrote, “I’m going to kill the president. elect” and “Bring it, secret service.” He even mentioned getting a sniper rifle and targeting the White House once Donald Trump was living there.
Harrigan said his Facebook friends shared the post on Twitter and that’s how it went viral. He says, he’s ashamed of what he wrote.
“I’m incredibly apologetic, for that. I don’t know,” Harrigan said. “It was [a] very, very dumb thing to do, and I regret it very much… and I would take it back if I could.”
Harrigan said he was drunk when he wrote the “absurd comments” on election night before Donald Trump won the election. He said most of his friends knew he was just being “over the top” with his “distasteful joke”.
At least one of those friends wasn’t amused, sharing the disturbing messages outside their circle of Facebook friends. “It started to trend very, very quickly and started spiraling and I was blown away,” Harrigan admitted
The Secret Service spent two hours interviewing Harrigan inside his Del Mar home. They did not say whether criminal charged would be filed against the married father of two.
Harrigan said his family has been forced out of their home by death threats from people unhappy with his remarks. Although he said the threats he made against Donald Trump were “a joke”, he is taking the threats against his family seriously. –ABC 10 News
He has nobody to blame but himself.
I call BS on the alleged threats to him. Oh, poor me, I’m a victim. Guy needs to go to jail. Some one better get this crap under control before an attempt on Trump or Pence actually happens.

Former CEO, says he’s getting fake news death threats...
I posted on FR many times about the safety of the most evil man ever to set foot in our White House. As terrible a person as Obama is, and as harmful a government official as he has proven to be, I posted that I hoped he would survive the four (then eight) destructive years in power.
First, I did not want to chat with the Secret Service, or live someplace where my doors had bars and locked from the outside. Second, I genuinely think our country is safer with Mr. Pen-and-a-phone Barack Hussein walking out as a failed tyrant. Alive, he will have no legacy more lasting than a sand castle, while we might be in trouble if that communist bigot were a martyr. In both respects, I was thinking logically.
Trump voters are conservative because we think; we don’t just “feel” irrationally. This reality-impaired liberal CEO was feeling, alcohol-enhanced, and forgetting that half the country disagrees with his big-government totalitarian state dreams. Fortunately for America and unfortunately for him, the Secret Service is in the half that disagrees with him.

I keep forgetting just how much liberals have but one standard, 'double standards.' Of course HIS words were joking and words said towards him were extremely serious.
The other skill that liberals have in spades is projecting. When a liberal says they're joking and others must be serious, it really means that they were serious to begin with and simply were exposed for what they wanted to do.
File the charges, let him plead out for probation; truthfully he'll place himself in a far more severe prison than any currently out there. And I hope that his family and friends realize the double standards and projection of his own anger and reevaluate their relationship with him to take account of that.

The death threats to the electoral voters and their kids bothers me more. They should have protection until the vote.
