WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President-elect Donald Trump said on Sunday he is considering retired General James Mattis for U.S. defense secretary, a day after meeting with him in New Jersey.

I think Trump ought to make this guy SECDEF or at least CJCOS. Then recall the marine general who was pro-Hellary, the one who spoke for her at the Rat convention. (Another SOCOM general with an email problem!) Assign this guy the duty of shining Mattis’s shoes or cleaning his office.

Well Trump did say that we are going to win so much that we will get sick of winning, and just think: He isn’t even in office yet. Just think of the tsunami of winning we’ll get when that happens. It will be like Twilight zone episode when the guy goes to heaven and everything he does he wins at until he can’t take it anymore. We will have to go into therapy “Doc help me, I can’t take this winning anymore, winning winning all the time every time”

I would not be too sure about that. I heard Mattis was up for this back in May. He was/is Joe Dunford’s mentor.
I always thought Mattis should have taken a stronger stance in defending his Haditha Marines! Still think he would make a great SecNav or Defense Secretary

He just talks that way. He talks a big game, but when Marines actually do it the way he talks it, he prosecutes them. the Haditha Marines were screwed by mr tough talk.
Sgt Wuterich was put through legal hell by him.
Then after he retired he wound up on the board of directors of Theranos, that silican valley Medical test scam. That woman grabbed him and other DOD types for their medical expertise I guess, not so they could peddle influence.
