The US vice-president elect, Mike Pence, was booed by a theater audience when he attended the hit hip-hop musical Hamilton in New York on Friday night – and then had a message about protecting diversity delivered to him from the stage after the curtain call.
On Saturday, President-elect Donald Trump accused theatre-goers of having “harassed” Pence, writing on Twitter: “Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing.This should not happen!”
He also demanded an apology: “The Theater must always be a safe and special place.The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!”

Why of course, false moral equivalence is the only tool they have. It certainly eliminates the need for any real thought.
Young people have to see people fighting for what they believe in; when only one side does it, they begin to think those are the only values that deserve to be defended.
It is a lesson I learn over and over and grow tired of. Perhaps that’s why I stopped going to Broadway almost entirely.
Civil War was one of the best musicals I ever saw. The critics savaged it and it closed after 61 performances. It was then I started noticing that any play with normal values was destroyed by the critics who heaped praise on only the twisted & perverse or depictions of destructive behavior. That is how the left shapes the discourse and breaks down American values. Since then I go to Hammerstein revivals, West Side Story etc and skip the rest.
The man should be able to go to any public performance and enjoy it. I feel bad that his evening was spoiled by the fact the cast singled him out for a lecture which was entirely inappropriate. The cast album is free on Amazon Prime streaming and I’ll never stream it again.
He went with a woman that is not his wife. So it looks like he got an invite from someone..and perhaps they agreed to a price for the ticket so it wasn’t free..or some such thing.
There is no way a ticket in that location was only $700. (waiting for the libs to pick up on that and start that fire)
I never had the extra money to go to concerts or to live theatre events. I saved for weeks to go with a friend & see the matenee of CATS that appeared in Los Angeles. Weenjoyed it very much.
However-—IF I win the Lottery tonight or in the future—I will be VERY sure NOT to ever spend a single dime on anything remotely called theatre!!!
The Snobs & elites & idiots that are part of the New York Theatre will never get my support.

The entire cast & management Of the play, “Hamilton” owes our newly elected VP and open and public apology given on stage during an open “press conference”!!! How dare they insult and make mockery of an honestm decent and fairly elected VP by the people of the United States of America. POTUS, Donald J. Trump & VP, Mike Pence received massive votes from African-Americans, Hispanics, Gays, etc. Trump has promised over and over again to be the POTUS of “every & all” American citizens, somethin Barack Hussein Obama never did!!!
On the other hand, POTUS Barack Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton and the entire Democrat Party, whom these NY “Broadway Stars” adore & worship, have done more damage to African-Americans, Hispanics, etc., then any objective, fair American can imagine. The deaths by shootingsY drug usage, in Democrat controlled big cities is the worst it has ever been. Black & Hispanic children receive low level education, metered out by “Teacher Unions” supported by Obama and his low life political ilk!!! These American citizens, live in unending poverty, on “Obama’ economic slave plantations. Shame be brought upon all the onstage low life, that stood by and let this trash jive happen!!! To me they are not God’s children, but, naught more then Obama, Clinton, Satans from hell!!! Talk about folks living in a bubble and fantasy land!!! They should all hang their heads in shame!!!
The good news that surfaces from this hate, is that these fools and idiots continue the continuing, marching, coming destruction of the Democrat party!!! Failures, Obama & Clinton are gone forever (Trump saw to that)....let us thank God, in his Almighty justice & wisdom!!!
The new Trump regime may encourage saner shows to appear (as well as crazier ones).
