If I were Trump - ANYONE involved in such peevish, or illegal activities is open to either prosecution or instant firing.
And I’m not talking about just Obama’s appointees - I’m talking about anyone GS-10 and above
If this is true, it is an extreme dereliction of duty, and I’m not sure what loyal American citizen would actually obey this command to stand down.
If this is true, I expect that Trump would issue a statement for the border patrol folks to ‘stand their ground’. And that anyone who conforms to these policies will have NO PLACE when the new administration takes control.
Furthermore, Trump should issue a statement stating that if anyone should be punished by the current administration for ‘standing their ground’, THEY will be first in line for promotion/reinstatement when Trump takes control.

While still governor, Rick Perry sent the Texas National Guard to the border to enforce law that Obama wouldn’t. Gov. Greg Abbott continued the deployment and unless I miss my guess the will be repeated this. Abbott may be confined to a wheelchair but he is no wimp. Hide and watch!
