It'll be "very hard" for President-elect Trump to undo many of the social changes President Obama implemented in the military should he decide to do so, the Army secretary said on Thursday.
Eric Fanning acknowledged that the path to social change over the course of history "has never been purely linear."
"But I do think it's very hard to roll things back completely," Fanning said at the Defense One Summit in Washington. "Society is changing very quickly."
He also said the decisions the military has already made will make it more difficult to kick people out of the service who have already been accepted.

Not saying I don't heartily agree with you, but that's a lot of water under the bridge. And I'm not saying that this can't be done, but there is a lot of ensconced issues which must be addressed. What about the "out" homosexuals already in the service? Do they get discharged? A court will never allow this after the fact (after all, Congress did pass legislation to allow openly serving sodomites.)
The best that we can hope is that going forward the former policy can be put in place again, and the attrition of shorter-lived homos can do the rest.
If I'm not mistaken, the requirement to abstain from homosexual sodomy, and the penalty for this, is still in Military Regulations.
They can be reassigned - happens all of the time - even to straight people.

He and she have a very odd fascination with transsexuals. I’ve worked around a couple of gay people (management) in my lifetime. Never heard them utter one word about transsexuals, ever.

How do you put someone in charge of a military branch when that person has never served in that military branch.
Stupidity at it;s highest, and we all know that this was about social change within a fighting force.
Now Trump has four years to get this back on track, change these people in charge, change the officers who were promoted based on their homosexuality , and social views.
The military is a fighting force, not a sissy force which the left wants it, and has got in many who have joined.
