Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith wore a safety pin on his shirt during his postgame news conference following Sunday's win over the Carolina Panthers. Smith was asked why on Wednesday and said it had to do with tolerance and understanding and wasn't about the recent presidential election of Donald Trump.

As NFL ratings continue to fall.
Diaper Pin is what most of us refer to it as
It was to hold up his diapers. What a putz.
I guess the NFL is doing everything they possibly can to piss of their fans.......you know, the people who buy their crap souvenirs and watch their games...............
“Safety Pin” is an oxymoron when mixed with physical bodily sports. Too stupid to even accept his excuse.
Thanks to Goodell and the players who spit in their fans faces.................

Doesn’t have the gumption to admit his bend, instead using chicken weasel words to ‘explain’ his high-mindedness.
Such a putz. He stands up with a symbol on his shirt as if to make a stand and then in the face of one question he immediately backs off and denies he was doing it. He's weak AND a coward.
Poor Andy Reid. He has to put up with him being his quarterback.
Alex Smith is famous for one thing:
He was replaced on the roster by one Colin Kaepernick.
He obviously crapped his diaper!
In case he lost the other one holding up his diaper?
you’ve done a good job getting the carbon residue off of it...nice and clean.
regards,
Alex - that should be good for another 2-3% decline in TV ratings and revenue. I
n the meantime, I say FU.
The NFL owners are a quiet bunch who don’t like publicity or controversy - but they will crack down on all cheap political gestures before too long. They won’t have a choice.
>>Chiefs QB Alex Smith explains why he wore a safety pin
Because he’s a douchebag, like every other “protester” who is wearing their diaper pin.
