Twitter has initiated a major purge of prominent accounts associated with the alt-right exactly a week after GOP President-elect Donald Trump’s stunning electoral victory.
One of the first and most prominent accounts caught up in the deletion is Richard Spencer, president and director of the National Policy Institute, an alt-right think tank focused on white identity and related policy issues.

Okay - I was right - Milo Yiannopoulos is considered “alt-right”. My kids listen to “screamo” Christian music, and follow this guy on Twitter. A different style and medium to get the message across. Rather than dismissing it - we need to use it.
He not only overcame it.. he used it to build his popularity.
I believe the same is about to occur AGAIN.

Never heard of any of these people or groups. Wonder if facebook, Twitter, etc. will ban MoveOn.Org, Media Matters, BLM, and other leftist, racist organizations - aka “Ult-Left”.

For me, the “leftist rags” are like military satellite imagery.
If you don’t know what your political enemies are up to, it’s much harder to defend yourself, and much harder to attack.

That’s one way to look at it, but what good is that intel, when 99% of it is Grade A bullshit and propaganda?
I prefer honest, unbiased reporting, and well reasoned editorials.
Alt right was around as a term for a while. Hillary seized upon it as a negative label to put on people, but it pre-dated the primary season.
I saw the term during the #GamerGate controversy. Alt-right is anti-feminist, anti-SJW, and more “in your face” than the old “National Review” right Establishment.
I wasn’t sure what it meant so I changed it to GaltRight on my tagline. Works for me.
Trump WILL somehow use all this Twitter-FB crap to his advantage. And it’ll be fun to watch.

A lot of people are using minds.com now to avoid Twitter.
That’s what my leftist father-in-law always used to say when when he tried to get me to listen to Obama’s BS. He said “how are you going to really know the truth if you refuse to listen to what the other side is saying?”.
I said “nice try pops, everything that comes out of Obama’s mouth is a lie and you can’t learn the truth from listening to lies”.
If I want to read or hear liberal talking points, I have no trouble finding MSM outlets - they’re all around us. I come to FR or sme sanity and relief from the bombardment of liberal lies and talking points.
I can't get on the thing. Tried to sign up a couple of times, but I just get a message I'm on the waiting list.
