Clinton currently has 61,964,263 votes compared with Trump's 60,961,967

As Americans’ votes continue to be counted, Hillary Clinton‘s lead over Donald Trump in the popular vote has grown to more than 1 million people.

According to the non-partisan Cook Political Report, Clinton currently has 61,964,263 votes compared with Trump’s 60,961,967.

The president-elect said on Twitter Tuesday that he would have run a different campaign if the election was decided by popular vote and not the electoral college, and would have “won even bigger and more easily.”

Well, I guess the Cubs didn’t win the World Series after all. It was a tie. Both teams scored 27 points in seven games. It shouldn’t matter that the Cubs won 4 out of 7 games if they didn’t score more points than the Indians. Game 8 anyone?

.
I got some emails from people at True The Vote that claim numbers from 10 million up to 40 million that have been found by checking county vote logs.

Not all counties are cooperating with them though.

Trump won more States.

If made own election standards count, why not base a ‘win’ on who wins the most States? One vote per State. North Dakota and California will each have the same number of electors: (ONE)...

Or base the number of electors a State gets on how many trees are in the State?

Or how many unicorn farms over 500 acres are within 6 miles of large cities? Democrats just make up whatever comes to mind that makes it look like their witch won... we can play that game too...

Don’t forget to add Chicago to that list. Gave Kennedy his 1960 win and is still cranking out Dem votes every four years.

Doesnt matter. We know 3 million illegals, at least, voted for her. She is still down two million legitimate voters.

We don’t know who won the popular vote, because many states do not count absentee ballots. Also, after subtracting fraudulent votes of the dead, illegals, and felons, the results would be a different total.

Tyrannical liberal states with large populations just want to use the popular vote, so that they can be the rulers of all the states with a smaller number of people.

Have not looked lately, but back when it was 400K, there were 2.5 mil more votes for Hillary in California alone and another 1.5 mil in New York... New York city or Los Angeles would be picking our president forever if we switched to popular vote instead.

So what? He won the electoral votes. They need to learn to accept reality.

Let’s look at how the fraud was supposed to work.

I think she targeted 4 states to guarantee her victory: Michigan, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Virginia.

She wanted to make it close, so they looked at Romney’s popular vote totals in those states for 2012, thinking there was no way Trump would outperform Romney. Then they programmed in (either via machine or dead voting or ballot stuffing) a (what they thought was) comfortable margin of 5 to 7 percent over what Romney had received.

Michigan: Romney 2012 got 2,115,256. Clinton 2016 got 2.267,798.

Pennsylvania: Romney 2012 = 2,680,434. Clinton 2016 = 2,844,705.

Florida: Romney= 4,163,447. Clinton= 4,485,745.

Virginia: Romney= 1,822,522. Clinton= 1,916,845

What they didn’t count on was Trump outperforming Romney in all those states (by a significant margin) except for Virginia. I suspect Clinton buddy Terry McCauliffe has some Trump votes “lost” in VA, as it makes no sense that Trump would outperform Romney so handily everwhere but not in Virginia.

I don’t think California is completely counted yet, but I suspect it was her “mandate” state to make sure she won the popular vote. No one is going to suspect a huge margin in CA, so she could safely (fraudulently) run up the numbers there.

They are doing it to make the stupid public at large mad that Trump won without the most votes or popular vote.

In other words they are trying to Gruber the public yet again. Look at all the fools in the street they will lap it up like melted ice cream

The electoral college is a good fit to a republic made up of sovereign states that bound themselves together to create a more powerful union :-)

Popular vote elections are suited to a democracy of weak states bound together to enable an all-powerful central government :-(

If we didn't have the Electoral College, Trump would have been deployed his resources accordingly. He would have won the popular vote while burning less jet fuel.

The electoral college exists because we are the united STATES. If the President could always ignore certain states, why would they have any incentive to remain in the union?

Popular vote only would allow a candidate who only appealed to one specific region of the country to get elected.
